Jesus is trustworthy but the fakes might not be!
As a I desire to trust my Father. The trouble is we are all growing up in a world full of untrustworthy people many of whom are not ideal. We spend so much time interacting with them that they become real and somehow they satisfy whatever it is that brings us back to visit. Some how our needs for the moment are temporarily met, yet we remain unfulfilled. What is this world coming too, I wonder. As we move through the various writings in blogland, please beware that behind every nice photo there just might not be a not so nice person or someone who looks totally different than their picture. BC sets standards to protect individuals and unfortunately many don't abide. The chance of a match is less than 1% in my opinion. Blog safely and smart as we reach our comfort zones.
Many come here to find a friend, a lover or someone that they can relate too. BC gives you this space to satisfy, learn and grow, gain strength or wisdom, obtain laughter or perhaps just relax and have fun.
Some come here to just make friends. Some to share the gospel. Others come here to expose the Gospel and ward off the enemy and with his lies. Some feel that this is a mission battleground. Remember if you don't like people's comments you can block them, ban them, or perhaps only communicate with your friend's in your network. These are all options available.
I encourage whoever comes to this site to express what whatever gift the Lord has given you if it is praying make your blog about encouragement and prayer, if it is encouragement then approach your blog encouraging people, if you are a teacher make your blog about teaching, if your gift is humor then make your blog about being funny and then please be funny, if it is about whining and being needy then by all means whine. Perhaps, someone can help you here. There is a large support group here at BC. But the last thing we all need to be reminded of is not to make this place your home. There is a world outside of BC to explore. Explore it, love it and grow to be as strong and flexible and nurishing as a palm tree.
The good news is that Jesus is trustworthy! Our Father is Someone we can trust in hard times or in good times. And because He is working His character into the lives of every believer, He desires to bring us all to the place as brothers and sisters where we can love and trust one another. We are instructed to accept that God will only allow those things that will bring good in our lives and we should not fear. Sometimes the lessons seem strange at first but who are we to judge our heavenly Father. Just like a should not judge the leadership of his parents. How often do your question your authority as the earthly parent; and how often did you resist authority as a ?
"And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, and are called according to His purpose." Romans 8:28
"If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your , how much more shall your Father who is in heaven give what is good to those who are as Him!" (Matthew 7:11)
