HOW DOES THE BIBLE TEACHES US TO PRAY We are taught to pray in a childlike reverence, love, and confidence and open our hearts to Him. It teaches us to separate our hearts from all earthly things, and raise them up to Heaven because we honor and glorify Him more than anything else. It teaches us to request that we may do the will of God on earth as faithfully and cheerfully submitting ourselves to Him. It teaches us to ask that God would give us all that is daily necessary for life. It teaches us that we should wish only for necessaries, not for riches and abundance; acknowledging that He already knows the desires of our heart. It teaches us to ask for forgiveness all our sins as we forgive others who have offended us. It teaches us to ask that God would remove from us all temptations and all the dangers of sin and guidance to know right from wrong. It teaches us to express it with the desires from our hearts and also our confidence of being heard. and lastly to do this we must find a quiet place and be quiet and listen as we pray. It is so simple, isn't it sis? And yet people try to make it more than it is. I often wonder why that is? God is so complex but He knows we could never understand Him the way He is, so He comes to us as we are, where we are and allows us to come to Him that way as well. Ephesians 6:13 . . .and having done all, to stand
