My My has decided to go into the marines. What do you think? The Army, Marines, Navy...what are the pro's and con's? Does anyone know? I have been told that in the marines they go into the combat zone. You know that I am wondering. Can any advice be given for one that wants to serve their country?  (¯`•♥•´¯) ¤`•.♥.•´ ¤ (¯`•♥•´¯) |

My son is in the Army and he has great things to say about the Marines and Army....They are very well trained which is a pet peeve of mine....Mentally, phisically, and spiritually....They have all denominations of pastoring our people....I love the change in him....I have a couple of Marine friends that have absolutely no regrets....None!....There is always danger of course but we have some very unusual weapons that our Marines use...Very high tech....They are much safer than they were previouly....Your son will be fine....Watch him soar....GOD Blesses you and your son ‘HE will rule them with an iron scepter.’... He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty.... On HIS robe and on HIS thigh HE has this name written:... KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS."

Sherri, if this is the decision your son has made, I pray that you will support him on it. My grandson is thinking about joining the US Navy when he graduates from High School in May. I am praying for the safety and safe return of all our troops overseas. God bless my grandson and your son for wanting to become one of the many protectors of the United States of America. Thank God for these kids who will rise up for their countries, be proud of your boys willingness to defend the women and children of his country and others. We are going to need more of them, that's for sure, but I understand how your moms heart feels about it, Sheri ...

indrescrible my son is in army his scond tou in irq sgt over 20 men,driving humbee through landmines,nephew in navy our on water,he just sails around not really seen in war in iraq,neice's husband is in marines this is his second tour in iraq they are first to go line fire.i would say either navy or air force,hope this helps some.
