The Sinless Perfection Test - Are YOU Perfect??? Part 1 “If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us” -1 John 1:8 This is a test for all the sinless ‘Christians’ who claim to be on par with the same sinlessness of Jesus Christ Himself, in present practice in this life while still in the body of flesh, particularly those who deny that 1 John 1:8 applies to the Christian. That we may not be deceived or mistaken as to the nature and definition of sin, let us define exactly what sin is. According to Scripture, there are at least five basic definitions of sin. Here are the scriptures that define this for us: - 1. “But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.” (Romans 7:23) - 2. “Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.” (1 John 3:4) - 3. “Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.” (James 4:17) - 4. “And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.” (Romans 14:23) - 5. “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23, 1 John 5:17) - Correspondingly, here are the definitions of sin in numeric order as quoted above: 1. Sin is a law that dwells in the flesh 2. Sin is transgression of God’s law 3. Sin is knowing to do good but not doing it 4. Sin is anything not done in faith 5. Sin is anything that comes short of the glory of God ![]() (¯`•♥•´¯) ¤`•.♥.•´ ¤ (¯`•♥•´¯) |

Draw a line in the sands of time. That line is complete repentance and 100% complete surrender of EVERYTHING. ALLLLLL of EVERYTHING. from that moment in time- -everything is both forgiven and forgotten by GOD. Your past DOES NOT EXIST ANY MORE- YOU ARE CURRENTLY COMPLETELY ETERNALLY SIN FREE. Then- as you are NOW COMPLETELY SIN FREE IN ALL OF ETERNITY IN THAT SINGULAR MOMENT, surrender that one last thing to Him- Your very LIFE itself. No more "sherri or Amanda or rhonda or gordy or hazel or bobby" or ANY FACET OF HUMAN LIFE AT ALL. for EVERYTHING MEANS EVERYTHING. With nothing left at all- how will you ever sin again- since you surrendered all free will BACK TO HIM? Surrendered all self examination BACK TO HIM. Surrendered every desire BACK TO HIM. Surrendered TIME and HEAVEN and FAITH and LOVE and ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL of it BACK TO HIM? Everything- ALLLLLL of it. Then when you have nothing left- no junk at all- no treasure at all- He alone owns and controls the whole of creation once again as it was in the beggining... in and through you. "born again"... from scratch... the way He always intended. "sin free" and PERFECT IN HIS PERFECTION. None of your past exists even in a HINT of such existence... 100% New creature IN THIS LIFE AND ON THIS PLANET JUST AS THE BOOK SAYS. ![]() ![]() ![]() Who can make it to that place? YOU can. If you say He can't get you there- you call Christ and the Father a liar... not a good thing. "Jesus"... He's included in what you have to surrender back to the Father... "alllll... " And the Father gives you back- only what HE ALONE KNOWS you need. Easy isn't it? ![]() ![]() ![]() You think maybe He wants you to have SIN back into a COMPLETELY SINFREE LIFE? Might wish to stop saying God is wrong- and you are right... that help? ![]() ![]() ![]()

First off, I think you are too legalistic in your definition of perfect. If Job was called PERFECT, then did that mean he was a "perfect" as Jesus Christ Himself? No of course not. Job 1 1: There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil. Not only Job but Zechariah and Elisabeth... Lk:1:6: And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless. Its the ATTITUDE that matters, and having a clear conscience. Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.” (James 4:17) 1Tm:1:5: Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned Acts:24:16: And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void of offence toward God, and toward men. Secondly, perfection has to be attainable, at least as perfect as God expects us to be perfect, or else this is referring to NOBODY: Phil:3:15: Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you. And thirdly, anybody who is STRIVING toward perfection of character, as the Bible admonishes us to do, would NEVER claim they were perfect. Because the more you behold the perfection of Jesus Christ, the clearer you see all of your own imperfections.... and the very LAST thing you would do is claim you were perfect. Phil:3:12: Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus. Comparing your character with the Law and with God's holiness, you are as filthy rags... Isa:6:5: Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts. The PHARISEE who is self-righteous, compares himself with "other men" and thus with that measuring tape he seems just as good as they are if not better, in his own eyes... Lk:18:11: The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican In conclusion, we are to STRIVE toward perfection, 2Cor: 7 : 1: Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. and seek to be more and more like Jesus: 1Jn:2:6: "He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked" Its really simple but people try to make it so difficult. 1. You strive by faith, in Gods strength to be perfect like Jesus, because you love Him, because you are loyal to God... 2. You have an attitude of humility... always relying upon the blood of Christ for salvation... And God looks on the heart... not on outward appearance. AND you WILL fall and fail... 1Jn:2:1: My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous If anybody is claiming to be perfect, you can just about bet they are about as far from it as you can get... its a sign they have never really had an just concept of the perfect Righteousness of Christ. But thats what God is trying to do for us, Jesus not only died to substitute for us but also to restore God's image in us: Rom:8:4: That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. and He does it, not by works of righteousness of our own, but it is done by the renewing of the Holy Ghost IN US... Ti:3:5: Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost We just need to have faith and cooperate. Jn:14:15: If ye love me, keep my commandments. --Jesus.

Just to sum up, God wants our hearts... our love and loyalty. People who are legalistically-minded view God as being a legalist and then therefore they come to the conclusion that God is really asking us to do something that is impossible. Mt:5:48: Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. It is just like this fellow in the parable: Mt:25:24: Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed In other words, this man was making God out to be a Being that is a hard, legalistic task-master, expecting something back when we are incapable of giving it... so Jesus went along with it, though God REALLY ISNT that way at all, and He says well if you REALLY thought I was that way why on earth didnt you improve your talents I gave you? But the others who DID .... show that they did just what God expected them to do and were as "perfect" as He expected them to be. Too many Christians today are the same as the one guy and say "just believe" because I cant measure up to what God wants anyway. "Jesus does it all" and they go bury what God gave THEM to use for His glory. It was THEIR responsibility. Well anyway this subject irks me because its as if people make God out to be a legalistic hard master... and a liar, asking people to do what they cannot do. and like God is sitting there just watching for our mistakes and to beat us over the head any time we make mistakes. Thats really whats at the bottom of this "Just Believe" teaching. Jn:14:15: If ye love me, keep my commandments. --Jesus.

To believe God leaves you to go back to sin- -is to deny His son's sacrifice and God's own ability to keep you from all unrighteousness. God IS a legalistic and hard master- -TO SINNERS. Get it even YET claudia? PEOPLE CAN NOT DO IT. GOD DOES IT TO THEM. All you do is SURRENDER ALLLLLLLLLL back to HIM. Yer just gettin it all bassackwards is all. That's called "self will" instead of God's will. Dump SELF WILL back where it came from. ![]() ![]() ![]()

what awesome truth! In Romans, Paul makes this so clear if we have our eyes open. We are no longer under the Law, christ died for all sin. It is only sin if we in our own minds see it and contineu to see ourselves as sinners. as Paul said if we do then we say Chrsits death on the cross was in vain, because we would be saying that we still under the law, when now b ecause of grace we follow the law out of love, but are no longer a slave to it. This is so awesome!I need to study romans again, what a renewing of the mind it is. thank you Gods Continued and Never Ending Blessings and Love, David ![]() Prayer Group Testimonies, And Encouragment Group Set Free ( Renewing Our Mind)

I believe the bible defines the word sin as: 'To miss the mark', in regards to our moral condition and purity in comparison to God's. And this necessitatates our need for a savior in the form of Jesus.

I believe the bible defines the word sin as: 'To miss the mark', in regards to our moral condition and purity in comparison to God's. And this necessitatates our need for a savior in the form of Jesus. "To Miss The Mark". SIN. It's also the words used in the old roman empire for an archer who couldn't shoot straight and it's resultant damage of NOT BEING CERTAIN OF THE PROPER RESULT. Only thing wrong with your "savior" idea is that HE CAN NOT SAVE YOU FROM THE DAMAGES YOU DO TO YOURSELF IF YOU SIN. He was sent to TEACH US HOW TO SHOOT STRAIGHT AND STOP SINNING. Not "save us" if we refuse to learn FROM HIM... ![]() ![]() ![]() The mark is LIFE- the WAY is almost impossible to find... and even JESUS didn't reveal how to FIX that - only that WE COULD DO IT OURSELVES. ![]() ![]() ![]() "Miss the mark"... can't STOP MISSING THE MARK IF YOU SIN ALL THE TIME. ![]() ![]() ![]()

Because we are chosen? IF WORTHY OF CHRIST- THEN chosen. Almost backwards from the 12 disciples but not quite. ![]() ![]() ![]() Folks like to say we are all "equal" in God's eyes. Nothing could possibly be further from the truth. ![]() ![]() ![]() Up to HIM to choose- can we "earn it"? Yup. "faithful in the little- chosen for the BIG". ![]() ![]() ![]() Jesus told us that. Problem is- "called to what"- and can we be "faithful" in our job that we are to DOOOOOO for Him? ![]() ![]() ![]() Not if we don't know what the little job even is. ![]() ![]() ![]()
