So you want to give up hope?

When hope is gone, part of life seems to go with it. I felt this way some years ago...Our ties to life are all founded on hope. We hope for the future. We hope the weather will get better. We hope the stock market will get better or our health will be better. Our every action has a thread of hope connected to it.

When hope is gone, life is gone. When hope is gone, life loses its purpose and meaning. Don't loose hope. When life loses its purpose and meaning, then it is easy to fall away from God. People who have lost hope in any circumstance not only give up on the circumstance, they often give up on living.

The fact is that God gave us a will. We have will power. This power of our will was given to us by God so in times of hopelessness, in times of financial or spiritual poverty, we can look up to God and find hope.

So you say, but, but, but...Lord I have no food, I can't pay my bills, I may be homeless soon.

Step out in faith and seek wise Christian counsel before you react. When one feels hopeless, one gives up and often times one doesn't make good decisions. One may throw there hands in the air and just say "whatever".

With Christ alive in our hearts, there is always hope, there is always life and there is a better way.

The Lord said, seek and you will find, he didn't say give up.

The best is yet to come.

We focus on the wrong things... we MUST surrender OUR hope- and let The Father give us what Jesus meant and taught was going to REPLACE HOPE WITH. ASSURANCE OF TRUTH DESTROYS MERE HOPE. ASSURANCE IS NOT FAITH- It is PHYSICAL REALITY THAT CAN NOT BE DENIED.

Jesus' way as sent from the Father-- is better than FAITH OR HOPE. It becomes solid FACT- if we would DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO what He was teaching those folks back then to DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
Dang... I keep saying that... I wonder WHY? Do people believe in FAITH AND HOPE- instead of The Father? Hmmmmmmmmmmmm... I wonder....

Still we haven't defined what Hope, Truth and Faith is. Each one needs a thread for itself.

What does Matthew 6:33 reads: "But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."

Particularly, I have always liked the following verses of Matthew 17:

v24: After Jesus and his disciples arrived in Capernaum, the collectors of the two-drachma tax came to Peter and asked, "Doesn't your teacher pay the temple tax?"

v25: "Yes, he does," he replied. When Peter came into the house, Jesus was the first to speak. "What do you think, Simon?" he asked. "From whom do the kings of the earth collect duty and taxes--from their own sons or from others?"

v26: "From others," Peter answered. "Then the sons are exempt," Jesus said to him.

v27: "But so that we may not offend them, go to the lake and throw out your line. Take the first fish you catch; open its mouth and you will find a four-drachma coin. Take it and give it to them for my tax and yours."

You see, Gods provides, always.
