Another Poem God bless, 6 years ago my husband died. I was very upset that my Father would take him and leave me here. I then began the pity party and desired a new relationship. This was so important that I could not focus on what He would have me focus on. I started a womens bible study of the book of James for something to do. The rest, as they say, is His Story... and the last 4 years, of a focus on Him, has been nothing short of a miracle. My Father, My Partner, My Friend I asked the Lord to bring to me, Someone I could trust. He knew my heart and I believed, A partner was a must. I waited and I waited, And I found no one there. So back I went to my Lord, On my knees in prayer. Wont you bring me someone Lord, To share this life with. Through the good and the bad times, During which my heart you lift. Instead he blessed me abundantly, With the study of James. And through his loving words, So much I have gained. How could I have ever missed, My Father standing there. Now a partner, my dear Lord, I no longer care. You are all I’ll ever need, Now and forever. And through James I have learned, You will leave me never. PRAISE THE LORD... denise |
