The Attributes Of The Former Ministers Of The World

Scripture Readingxo 36:35, 37:8-9, Job 38, Isaiah 14:12, Ezek 28:11-14
“And to one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one, to each according to his own ability”(Matthew 25:15a)
The Attributes Of The Former Ministers Of The World
The first world, the former world, was beautiful, full of light and harmony. In the book of Job, while describing how He created the world, God says that at that moment, the morning stars sang together and all the sons of God shouted for joy (38).

This beautiful creation was given to the government of Lucifer, the most prominent archangel of all. In Isaiah 14, this angel of light is represented by the king of Babylon.

As world ruler of the former world, Lucifer could not be any common person, but he needed to be good, adequate and competent. So Ezekiel 28 says that he was the seal of perfection, full of wisdom and beauty (v. 12). He was covered with precious stones (v. 13), which represented the gifts God had given him.

Lucifer was the anointed cherub guardian (14) and, according to some translations, was assigned to guard the ark. The cherubim are related with the glory, for we know that in the tabernacle of God, there were cherubim embroidered on the veil separating the Holy Place from the Holiest of Holies and also two golden cherubim with their wings covering the expiation cover (Exo. 36:35; 37:8-9). All this shows the beauty, glory and honour that Lucifer had, because the cherubim had the ministry of guarding and covering the ark. Who knew a being like this one would be able to rebel?

The Lord called us to serve in the church and equipped us with talents and abilities, or gifts (Matt. 25:15). Lucifer's history serves as a warning to us not to become proud. We must recognize that nothing we have or even what we are comes from us, but from the Lord.

Hi Mujerdegloria - Women of Glory.

I can see you are having the same problem as I sometimes get when quoting the Bible and then some of the numbers for the verses ends up as smilies...

But If you take care to make extra space between the number and the end- parentheses [)], then it should normally not become a problem.

The same goes for colon and semicolon. Just make an extra empty space between the number and the colon/semicolon.
Smilies are made out of colon(s) and parentheses e.g : ) becomes , = ) ) becomes

(The third tool from the right (the paper with the magnifying glass) is for previewing the post. The only thing it won't show is pictures. The first tool being smilies.)

Blessings
