Big Church advertising $ex....AGAIN??? Last time I posted about this matter, at the bottom of the main blog page here on BC there were graphic picture adverts for one of the other sites that is also owned by the company / entity that owns BC. I was appalled, and initially considered leaving the site back then because of it. I streamlined my profile in preparation to cancel it, but decided to hang around because of the wonderful friendships I have made, and because (I think it was either racefan or blueair?) had contacted someone at BC to complain about it and have those adverts removed.....well, they're baaaaaack! After looking through the blog posts a short time ago for any new postings, I logged out of BC. The webpage that loaded after logging out was more than just a simple confirmation of my log out, at the bottom of the webpage there were several video clips of a very graphic sexual nature.  I thought this kind of crap had been handled, and that we wouldn't be subjected to this anymore???? This is an outrage!!!  If anyone from BC with any clout reads this post, I pray that God touches your heart and you feel compelled to put a stop to this!

Hi. I use to complain about it every time they show a picture of a young girl who can't afford to buy underwear. If enough people complain constantly, they will have to change it. Thanks for the responses and suggestions folks - that in itself is one of the things that keeps me coming back here!  I'm considering on calling that number (after praying for the Lord to give me the words to say, because I don't trust my own words at this point) to add my complaint. Sojourner06, this is only bad for business if paying members start leaving the site. Trust me, non-paying members like us really don't matter all that much to this site. Any answer or action on our complaints is done more so that we are silenced, rather than done because our complaints are valid and that it's the right thing to do. Seeing as how the p0rn links are being posted here again, it's very apparent that this site is more concerned about "the all mighty dollar" than catering to the (paid or free) members here. Terrie, BlueAir, I commend you in giving the programmers / tech support / customer service dept. of this site the benefit of the doubt in this being just a glitch. I however disagree with this being just a glitch, and hold them completely responsible and guilty of the content they either allow or intentionally place here. I'm sure that restlesspirit, also being familiar with PC tech, will agree with me here; a glitch would be something like the left side of the webpage going blank periodically (we've all experienced this) in the chat rooms. IMHO, this issue is most certainly not a glitch.

If the free members wasn't here, it wouldn't be interesting for paying members. The amount of members at BigChurch (paying or not) is one of the attracting things BigChurch can use for advertising. Advertising brings customers. Some will chose a free membership; some prefer the paid membership with its benefits. In this business they normally say for each member complaining about something, there are 100 others who feel the same way, but do not report their complaints. So I do not agree with you.
