it is a pain to remove the roof from my jeep I bought this jeep because I thought it wood be a strong alternative to a convertible. I got creamed on my scooter last year, and I decided to give up riding it. but I LOVE the summer and being outside when I travel, which is why I bought the jeep from my settlement money. I took the roof panels off this week for the first time. it has (supposedly) easily removeable freedom panels on the roof that are a pain in the but to remove and put back on. they make something called a best top sunrider that I originally thought I would buy ($700+), but upon closer investigation, I don't think it is safe or strong enough for Chicago winters. I will have to take it off for the winter and put it back on in the summer. I didn't really plan on that much work. I am lazy. I think I will come up with a better routine for removing the freedom panels. ![]() |
