The English word hell has been theorized as being derived from Old Norse hel[2] but the cognate does appear in all the other languages and has a Proto-Germanic origin.[3] Among other sources, the Poetic Edda, compiled from earlier traditional sources in the 13th century, and the Prose Edda, written in the 13th century by Snorri Sturluson, provide information regarding the beliefs of the Norse pagans, including a being named Hel, who is described as ruling over an underworld location of the same name ok ok ok. this is wikki, but they are right sometimes. this is scholastic history, not the bible. NOT theology even. ADDITIONALLY, the bible NEVER tells us ANYTHING about the origin of satan. I am not saying there is NO satan. I am saying that the majority of the buzz around satan that 'christians' seem to think is part of the gospel somehow, is NOT from the bible. MOST of the satan and hell story in fact did not EVER appear until the QURAN almost 1,000 years after Christ. dante and Milton's works (FICTION), which CLEARLY give the story of the origin of satan and hell. these are non-biblical fairy tales that the roman catholics added to their traditions very early on and that most Christians today STILL believe.

You are the one being ignorant to what Scripture really says. You are the one who started using the Quran for teaching others the origin of satan. So who is the "retard"??
