church front door

this is the front door of the church, and more stencil spraypaint art. the green and yellow background was left over paint from my kitchen.

the glass doors were allready covered in paint. they had been tagged by gangs and painted over dozens of times. since i did this, they haven't tagged me. it has been about 3 months.

what i really want to do, is replace this door assembly (it is all one alluminum frame) with a garage door. i will have to back it up with another door inside. it isn't that much work, or that expensive, it is just another thing i haven't gotten around to yet here.

i live in the building, but it is like the waco texas complex, and there is really no way to show the whole thing.

it is brick building from front to back. the picture on the blog of the front (and of these doors) is all you can really see from the front. likewise, the garage is all you can see in back. there is a narrow gangway on the sides, but one side is the neighbors, and you can't really get a good photo of the building from either side.

it likely was once a small brick bungalow, and they added the storefront onto it and modified it to fit. then later they added the garage. the middle section of house has a full basement, and *almost* a 2nd floor. i have to raise the roof a little bit.

this place is ridiculously huge. i have counted 16 rooms for real, and 20 if i get easy on what makes a room. when i raise the roof on the 2nd floor, that will add at least 3 rooms. there is an attic on the garage too, but it is too short to walk all through it. i might lower that floor too.
