 This is indeed a thought provoking post of some significance. After all what is our purpose in live but to love.

I don't know much about cooking, but I know first we need to get the ingredients. These come from supply on hand and Divine opportunities to apply it, or hence the cooking. We may go out on our own and cook up a lot of love application and burn out, or we could follow Jesus daily and apply love in situations that He opens up for us and be energized, never to burn out.

It is not an easy question to answer. Loving people who are not close to us is perhaps the simplest. More complicated is to love people who are intimate with us, as family, and immediate friends. They know us so well and can see through any pretense. Love here would have to be completely genuine and probably the most effective.
