God said he needed to run for president Cain: God said he needed to run for president. I can't quote the source here, but it's on internet news. I have to wonder. Did God tell Cain to run for president before, or after the allegations against him of sexual misconduct? After that I have to wonder if God looked like George Burns when He appeared to Cain. ![]() |

Byron----I beleive he was set up--Read Anne coulters log about it--all the allegations go back to David Axelrod--From--hmm--chicago--the Obama home front--in fact the latest so called Victim lived in the same Apt building as Axelrod--Incidental--I dont think so and why wait 12 Yrs and why now--hes been running for Pre for about 5 months--this could have come out much earlier--but wait--as soon as he becomes front runner--The Obama machine which by the way is VERY powerful tries to take him down!! Obama knows Romney cant bear him so hes not threatened by him at all!! BUT its interesting how threatened he is by Cain!! Sadly this will probably take Cain out of the running--so sadly get ready to have obama in another 4 Yrs--Read the history als of how Obama got elected Senator in Chicago--how again David Axelrod brought out such dirt on his republican opponent who was the front runner--and then Obama Won!! Amamzes me how republicans turn on their own but when Obama gets re-elected lets see what they say then!!

Amamzes me how republicans turn on their own but when Obama gets re-elected lets see what they say then!! It's pretty easy to suspect and even blame Mr. Axelrod considering the past, but that doesn't explain the first three complainants. My guess is that like most women who have been abused, they suffered in silence, and even though they saw their perpetrator running for office, they didn't see his election as a real possibility until he became a front runner. Then realized the potential this man had for victimizing the country like he did with them, and then acted. I could be wrong, but it all makes sense. As for Cain scaring Oboma, he scares me too. If you actually do the math on Cain's 9,9,9 plan you would conclude that the amount of taxes actually paid by lower and middle income brackets of $20 - $100 grand a year, will actually increase by 4 to 6 times the amount they pay now. While at the same time the taxes to those earning above $100 grand annually will actually decrease to from 1/2 to as little as 10% of what they are paying now. All dependent on what they actually make. It's all cleverly hidden, causing most middle income thinking that this dude's plan is a god send for us, but the key is in the sales tax part, and it's impact on the purchase of durable goods, which low and middle income purchase the most of. Also the sales tax is contingent on cash and credit purchases which we use but not the virtual income used by the rich who can afford to do so. Finally, what about Obama? The fact is that over 95% of the Christian community that opposes him are opposed only because of one issue. Abortion. The man will simply not embrace the choice of life, which puts on the blinders to the rest of the Christian community. We look at ONLY that one issue and nothing else matters. If Obama returned prayer to schools, took the gay tolerance and evolution out of schools, and gave each of us a $50 grand stimulus, we would still be unmoved because of his stance on abortion. We would rather elect someone who will tell us what we want to hear, and not follow through, then a man who we disagree with, yet has the personal integrity to stay true to what he says, even though we all feel he is dead wrong. Now you put that quality of his on ANY OTHER ISSUE even if we disagree, and we will admire his personal resolve. But because he won't bend on the one issue that we are most absorbed on, we make him out to be the devil incarnate. Could it be that we are wrong? Not on life issues, but where we are trying to address them. Does abortion really belong forefront in politics? Especially given our total failure to make any progress. Perhaps we should be looking at other means to promote the message of life. Like in our churches and in education. If the efforts and money we have wasted in politics to curb abortion were used in any other endeavor, I think the problem would be in our past like the black plague is now.

Hi Kathy; I agree with you, but I would add to it a Righteous man OR WOMAN In Office to be our next President. So far I see Ms. Backman as the best Republican candidate.

"The fact is that over 95% of the Christian community that opposes him are opposed only because of one issue". Where dd you get your "facts" from?

"The fact is that over 95% of the Christian community that opposes him are opposed only because of one issue". Where dd you get your "facts" from? Had you of been here on Big Church right after he was elected you would have seen reaction attributing Obama to the anti-christ, and all ONLY because he supports the pro-choice camps. Nearly everyone here seems to think that those in power are righteous or godly based solely on their stance against abortion. Not if they are in fact saved. My home state has both the first in the nation caucus, and the nations first straw poll. I have attended both, and I can tell you quite confidently that the winners of both events are the ones who scream about abortion the loudest, with almost no regard for any other issue. Personally I feel it's very wrong to base your entire political stance and voting habits on one issue, no matter how important that one issue is. Now if that one issue is included among a number of other issues important to you, then it's worth your supporting a given candidate and/or cause.

I get that information from nearly every Christian I've had any contact with since the caucuses in 2008.
