agape/phileo Does agape/phi-leo love interchange in a relationship? I am in a wonderful relationship with my sweetheart and I have went through all the lovey dove feelings and the butterflies in the stomach phase  but there are times I feel nothing at all but a friendship and companionship love for him some days we could talk on the phone for hours and then some days we don't have to talk to or see each other at all I feel comfortable with this because I never was one to want a Romeo outside my window quoting love sonnets 24/7 is this normal for a relationship I read of agape love last night and how it has nothing to do with feelings but everything to do with willing yourself to commit and be faithful whether you feel it or not and then I read of phi-leo and how it was a tender affection mostly based on feelings so I ask the question again does agape/phi-leo love interchange? whats your feedback I would love to hear it God bless you!may the words I speak be food to your soul |

Your mate must first be a brother/sister in that you base things on a spiritual respect as you should be yoked with a fellow believer. Attraction needs to be there with a desire to be intimate. If the intimate desire is not there then there is no sense in being more than friends. Trust is everything and it needs to be nurtured. The friendship and mutual respect have to be the base as yes we feel differently at different times. We are created with emotional cycles. One of the keys is for each to want to do for the other out of knowing the blessing for the other instead of wanting something in return. There are good manipulations and bad ones.

that is a good way to answer my question kind sir I am making alot of baby steps in my life and this is my first serious relationship that I have ever considered marriage in so thats why I am asking God bless you for your response may the words I speak be food to your soul
