Generational curses exist. But Not one born again believer has a generational curse. In the scriptures AFTER atonement was given on the cross; you will not find one scripture where a born again believer has a curse broken over them. Not one. The word says Jesus became a curse for us, as cursed is every man that hangs on a tree. Same with Demons. After the atonement of the cross there is not one place where a born again believer has a demon cast out. Instead the word says, resist the devil and he will flee from you. You will not find pleading the blood of Jesus either

We are not under the old Covenant law. What went on with Moses has nothing to do with us.You can not mix the old dead covenant with the new. When you do that it is a lie. Not a truth. Gal 3 warns against it. It also says that the law is a curse to the believer. Colosians 2 discusses the cross. Hebrews 8:13 declares the law dead

Alcoholism is a self aflicted addiction. A persons body becomes dependent with extensive use.Thats not a curse. It is a self inflicted condition. If people in a persons family drink, it is only logical they will as well. Same as with smoking. Jesus drank wine, but was not an alcoholic.

Bob George said it best, The real goal of Christianity should be getting to know Jesus better. Not always trying to overcome sin. The latter takes caare of the former in natural procession

now I like this statement because the real issue is getting to know Jesus because I was going thru generational curses because I did not have a personal relationship with God but when I did became intimate with God all those curses were under the blood amen thank you for writing this its confirmation for me God bless you may the words I speak be food to your soul
