Did God Intervene in the Superbowl?

Last night as I was going through stuff on the computer I stumbled on and article Superclaim: God Intervened In Superbowl. The jist of the article was that God intervened and caused this massive defeat of the Denver Broncos because they had released Tim Tebow 2 seasons earlier and brought in Payton Manning. The article alleged that John Elway let Tim go because he did not like his Tebowing thing he did or the prayer thing and that he had some bad feelings against him. That is what is alleged. The article goes on to say that because Tim Tebow is God's servant God humiliated the Denver Broncos to avenge his servant.
Well, hmmm, that is interesting but; what about all the Denver Bronco fans? There are a lot of them who went to bed very dissapointed that night. Some maybe suffering some depression from it. I know when my team lost to the Denver Broncos in Superbowl 32 it took me a while to get over it. And at that time I was a baptized believing Christian who went to church services instead of staying home and watching the bowl that year. Was God punishing me?
Also, if God wanted to "avenge" Tim Tebow, wouldn't he have blessed his abilities to excel with the Jets or the Patriots, the two teams that brought him on after he was cut from the Broncos?
How about this, perhaps, the Denver Broncos just had a bad day. Maybe the Seahawks were just a better all around team that had more weapons an more hunger.
As for Tim Tebow, well keep him in prayer. Perhaps God wants him to do something other than football. Whatever that is we know God knows what that is.
As for us worrying about what Tim Tebow is doing right now here is a scripture that I thought about when thinking of this.

John 21:21 - 22
Joh 21:21 Peter seeing him saith to Jesus, Lord, and what shall this man do?
Joh 21:22 Jesus saith unto him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? follow thou me.

Peter was asking Jesus about John the Deciple after Jesus has told him to feed his sheep than Jesus answered what is that to thee? follow thou me.
We need to do what God will have us to do. We need to make sure we are walking the path God had for us. Tim Tebow I am sure will seek God and if God wants to bless him and use him in the NFL I am sure that will happen. If God has something else for him then I pray that he will be open to Gods will and find peace in what his true calling is. As for me, I need to follow Christ as well and make sure I am in line with his will.
As for God intervening in the Superbowl, I am not really sure I buy that. I certainly can't say he didn't but I don't want to say he did either.

    Quoting  :

He humiliated Himself and became a human being so He could save a sinner like you and me.

So why not..??
