Obama's Speech Obama's speech; did I watch it? no. No I did not watch it. As I told a friend of mine it will only get me angry. I look at the situation we are in today and I realize the solutions to our nations problems are simple, get back to God. And yet this nation is being seduced by spirits that pull people's attention away from God. We've get the answers they think but little do they know our help will only come from the Lord. I pray for my nation's leaders; I do. Why? Because I believe that is what God would have me to do. Whether they submit to God's will or not is up to them. But I have to pray and ask God to bless this nation and to help me and my brothers and sisters get through these times we are in. In God there is always hope. Psalms 33:12 Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance. Psalms 144:15 Happy is that people, that is in such a case: yea, happy is that people, whose God is the LORD. |

i did not watch obamma either. i decided that there was NOTHING he would say that would change ANYTHING in my life. i actually listened to many of the campaign speeches and promises he made, although i did not vote for him. i dislike him less than i disliked bush, but there is NO way he did even a small fraction of what he promised to do. why do i need to listem to more promises and excuses why he could not come thru on original promises? i will say i am impressed that he pulled off national health care where many before him failed. it is very far from ideal, but it is a start. american business are NOT providing low end jobs with insurance any more. i have THREE kids in their 20s that work but don't get insurance on the job. i want for them to have insurance very much.
