Will You Pledge To Keep Your Blog Clean Of Insults? We do not have to endure insults on here unless it is our choice to do so by not doing anything about it. Christian people here have been shocked, hurt so bad, and just had to leave. Some of us are slowly realizing that each of us is not independent here and are some responsible to help other Christians, as we are family. The least we can do is to ban anyone who is insulting, demeaning others on our own personal blog. WE can keep it clean of this damaging behavior, as words do hurt and destroy. I believe Jesus wants us to protect the faith of others from insults. If you will pledge to keep your blog clean of insults by banning anyone who uses personal insulting posts on your blog, please post your pledge here. You will be serving the best interest of Jesus and His community of believers and others will know which blog sites they can expect to be free of personal insulting comments. Hmmmm, I am inclined to do that anyway, but not sure I want to pledge to it. (I'm personally just disinclined to hard and fast rules.) But I think what u'r trying to do is based on noble values. Good luck

Thanks Lily. People will know they can be safe sharing their faith on your blog. By stating your intention, you are letting people know this rather than just their hoping. I believe we are at the point where women especially need to have this assurance here. I have seen a lot of encouragement and support here on BigChurch. I believe it is worth some effort to keep it going this way. Blessings always.

Safety is the issue. The fact is that people have been deeply hurt on purpose by words intended to ridicule their faith and trust in Jesus. This is to be expected in the world. But here in a gathering of faithful there can be no acceptance of it. In fact we are instructed to not accept it period. It is not our place to condemn those who insult our faith, but it is our place to exclude them from any fellowship. Jesus appointed elders or shepherds to protect the flock from a threat that is real. Safety is a legitimate concern and much more so than some feelings of a wolf who seeks only to devour and destroy. It is not asking a lot of people to keep insulter's out of their blogs. It is the decent and christian thing to do.

Thanks for making your blog site safe from insults. This is obviously why there is no fighting on your blog. People can share without being attacked there. This is as it should be in my opinion.

Jesus never insulted and He never put people down. He did exclude His enemies from His fellowship. WE can do no less. He is our example. Blessings always.

Jesus never insulted or put anyone down for their faith, but always supported, rewarded, and protected their faith. WE should do no less. A prayer like yours will surely receive a yes answer. Blessings always.
