Am I The Dean of BigChurch, Age 67?

I thought there was someone on here that was 70, but I don't know. At age 67 I am proud and maybe now the dean of Big Church, ha ha. Many here are in their 40's, and 50's, and a few in their 60's. Why do people drop out after 60's? Its the best of times for me now. Anyway, whatever, I am pleased as punch to be leading the pack.

This seagull reminds me of yours truly. I spotted him/her in Fisherman's Wharf, SF.

It's not the years, it's the miles on the odometer. Some of us have neglected the proper maintenance. Excuse me while I go get an oil change. LOL

I think BreezeandI is in or pushing 70, but he doesn't come in to chat very often, and I dont' remember if he blogs or not.

Okay, so I am not the oldest. I will be happily be looking for these older ones. But, at least I am not far behind. I don't plan on going anywhere, so maybe some day when I am 80 I will be a bona fide dean. If I am not the dean now, maybe I can be the chancellor?

That is what I am trying to find out. At times I thought I saw someone in their 70's. I know what you mean about the mileage, and not the years. At times in my life the mileage was way ahead of my years.

Okay, I see your point. However, how about if during this year no one posts who is older than me, then by default I am dean of BigChurch since I post regularly?? But, if someone does post, then I will keep quiet and keep on trucking until I am the last man standing??? ha ha.
