Is Art Helpful? I don't know about anyone else. At times, depending on the picture, art seems boring to me, and other times it seems inspirational. I have many oils on the walls of my house, but really the digital pictures of nature are the most inspirational to me. Art is a reminder for me of the good and bad experiences of life.

Like you said, its hard to beat nature and photos of it. I have heard however, but not seen, that paintings of people like Davinci (Mona Lisa, Last Supper), Rembrandt, and Monet are very clear and inspiring to even people like us at our level of appreciation. I hope in the future to see some of these pictures in the art museums of New York City. I hear these paintings by these famous artists are gorgeous, as well as priceless. Paint thrown at a canvas is not worth my time at present, as I just can not relate much except that it reminds me of times in my life that were chaotic, ha ha.

That's an interesting idea to try to imagine what was in the artists mind when they were painting the picture. I would really like to know better the mind of Leonardo da Vinci who has been rated as likely the most widely talented person who has ever lived. An by the way, he was born out of wedlock. What of the loss if his mother had not wanted him? New York is in my sights for travel but not anytime soon. Blessings always.

That is an inspiring comment about us living on the Lord's canvas. I believe that each day's events are orchestrated by His purpose for each of us individually to give us opportunities to transform our self centered nature to thought and action for others. In this transformation process we receive more Energy from the Lord to be like Him.

Music is healing and motivating for me. The classics played by the orchestra's are ageless and will be around forever.
