Are You Worried About Dec. 21, 2012?

Some of the most prominent prognosticators like the Mayan Calendar, the I Ching, and Merlin are dancing up a cloud of worry about this date. All this fuss based on their credibility of past accurate predictions has got me to thinking. What they are saying is that Dec. 21, 2012, this year is going to be bad news, real bad news.

Our scientists say the magnetic poles of the earth are overdue for a shift. This means magnetic north would shift maybe to be over the USA or some place. The magnetic poles might even flip where north would be south and south would be north. It seems to have happened before in history.

Also astronomers are saying that on this date Dec. 21, 2012 the earth and sun and center of the galaxy will be in a straight alignment which happens once in 25,000 years. So there we go. Maybe or maybe not. The book of revelation is my most trusted source. But so far I have not figured out this book.

I am not one to pay much attention to these seers, but for some reason this time they have my interest. I suppose that just ignoring all this until the month of December rolls around might be an approach, but really I know that I will not ignore this. I have an uneasy feeling that our collective negative consciousness will not improve enough to forestall cosmic events affecting the earth. However I will do my part. Just a few people with light sharing capability can affect the survival of a decadent population like Sodom and Gomorrah. Would it not be amusing if Big Church saved the day?

There is in the wind also the idea that soon there will be a turning point from the present bad condition of our society to a much better time. I hope that this is what all this fuss and bother means. But, in my faith awareness I am sure that it will mean something. Maybe if Big Church can't save us, then our last resort to prayer could.

Cheese anyone? These Napa Valley winery's are full of cheese selections.

I know a woman whose birthday is Dec 21 and is hoping the world will end because the next one will be her 40th.

I used to feel like you do. I suppose I will just wait and see, but we should be praying anyway.

That was funny. All that cheese would not be my way of dealing with the end of 2012. Check out my next picture which is closer to how I would like to deal with it. Ha Ha

So funny. Only a woman can think like that. She would rather fly out of here than be 40, haha. Maybe she is right???

Oh, that is good to hear about the cycle starting over. I have not heard that one. I hope that the calendar is all that starts over. As you said, time will surely tell.

I have plans on the 22nd; so I'll have to skip the end of the world. But, let me know how it went. Thanks!

I would love to make bets with folks who are sure the world will end this Dec. 21, and get rich on their fear, and stupidity. But I know that would not be a godly thing to do. Yet still, the things I could do for God with my (sure thing) winnings.

The only problem is, if rapture happens before that date. Well, actually not a problem for me, (because I know where I will be) but a very big problem for those who are left behind.

It is interesting to me this time around because the alignment includes the center of our milky way galaxy. This would not be much of a surprise then. I believe he Scriptures say that the end will be somewhat surprising. As you say, time will reveal.

You have the major bases covered. That's funny about betting on the end of the world. You can't lose if you bet it will not happen, because if it does you won't have to pay up, and if it does you will still win. So, ha ha, it is a win win bet.

I'm planning an "End of the World Party" for Dec 20. Maybe I should call it a "New World Eve Party? I figure the end of the world only happens occasionally and we should celebrate the event. I hope we get lots of pictures so we can look back on them and reminisce at the next end of the world. I plan to do this every time the world ends. You're all invited
