San Francisco From Twin Peaks.  The city of San Francisco. The only place were people walk around naked or in expensive business suits, ride cable cars over 100 years old, have fisherman's wharf with the bush man and various musicians playing on the streets for dollars, and a large atom smasher at Livermore. In the middle of all this is Berkley across the bridge and church cathedrals. |

The financial district is still there. Of all the cities I have visited, for some reason San Francisco sticks in my mind more than the others, maybe it is the variety of cultures and people and sights, and extremes? It is a lovely place to visit. Everyone I talked too who lived there just loved San Francisco. I could not understand them at first, but after only two short days, I began to catch on. Merry Christmas.

Thanks, I am glad you liked the tropic pictures. I miss the tropics already. I will be in South Texas during your Dallas days, and for a while and during the holidays. It would be great to meet and have coffee. I just bought a new coffee maker. Merry Christmas.

Fisherman's Wharf still has the quaint feel of its nostalgic past, but it is like so many places being upgraded. I will put a picture up for you of me at fisherman's Warf standing next to a sax player who was hooked up to an amplifier so his lovely music filled half a block.
