I am Responsible or not Responsible?

I believe we all have a part to play in this chaotic world from the profound person to the profane person. I can't prove what I believe, but its not disproved either. However, my beliefs are based on experience, my own experience with them. So, its more than an intellectual exercise. Its conviction.

I used to believe or wanted to believe that everything was random, circumstantial, accidental, being in the wrong place at the right time. But I always had this gnawing sense that I was somehow connected to the events. To deny this would be to say we are not responsible, and therefore God is wrong to allow it, or punish us, because He is a just God. As a just God how can He let bad things happen to good people? But, who is good? Everyone is responsible or we would not have to give an account of every word we have uttered according to Jesus. If we are not responsible for this chaotic world, then we are blameless and God would be wrong to judge us for our actions.

As Christians we need to transform our negatives into positives. If enough of us do this, the world will change because we changed. Whatever we do has an effect on everything. Our purpose in life is to change from darkness to light, from self centered to other centered as well, from being judgmental to being nonjudgmental.

If ya were "IN CHRIST"- ya would not be sinning in the first place... Truth?
The Bible says there is a definate answer to the problem ---
"if you sin- you are of the devil"...
It does not say "if you are a sinner- you are in Christ". Sorry-
there's yer problem. Not one person who sins- is in Christ. Nope. Not one. And if you sin WILLFULLY after knowing TRUTH- you have lost the power of the sacrifice. Period. Do we understand the horrible results of sin? It NEGATES EVERY PRECEPT you have been taught comes with "salvation". SELF HAS TO DIE. Nothing short of that will do. And yes- you ARE responsible- the phrase if "free will". That or free will is a LIE. Choose.

We are called to be perfect even as He is perfect. Surely you are not suggesting that doing good, being a blessing to others is not a blessing to oneself as well? My life has much less chaos since I live a less chaotic life. Haven't you noticed in you life any change for the better? If you have then the proof is in your life that being respectful pays off even in this life.

I reread your comments, and I can see you were not being disrespectful but expressing your thoughts about our human nature. I need to ask and be more careful not to assume people are expressing annoyance. Thanks for relating to the subject with some good scriptures.
