THE MORAL GIANT- JESUS CHRIST

Our God has dignified us by giving us free will. Although he is God Almight, he forces no-one to serve him, obey him but he appeals to people on the basis of love, blessing to those who respond accordingly.

Should we not be led by his example when fostering connection towards his word, to apply the same wisdom. As we minister his word we should be ready to present the good nesw in a manner worthy of our merciful God. Because humans are imperfect, personality clashes occur, and this can cause others to stumble.

Colossians 3 ver 23 -24 reads

23 :Whatever you are doing, work at it whole-souled as to Jehovah and not to men
24: for you know that it is from Jehovah you will receive the due
reward of his inheritance. Slave for the master christ.

As we minister this good new of our God we should be careful to understand why, and who we are representing and we should guard against seraching out our own glory as Proverb 25 verse 27 clearly states.

27 : The eating of too much honey is not good and for people to search out their own glory is it glory

As receipent to God's word, we should allow God's spirit to clarify matters, when in doubt, as we know our loyality should only stand bearing toward God's kingdom, just because someone comes professing the word of the God,means nothing if he does not display the fruitage of the spirit stated in Galatian 5 ver 22 which reads:

22: On the other hand, the fruitage of the spirit is love, joy, PEACE, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faith.

we should gladly submit to authority but always keep an eye to those who cause division

Romans 16 v 17 reads:
Now I exhort you brothers to keep your eyes on those who causes divisons and occassions for stumbling contray to the teaching they you have learned, and avoid them.
Lastly the way I understood the word in John 14 v 6

6 :it reads jesus said to him, I am the way and the truth and the life. No-one comes to my father except through me.

Whether God spirit assigns someone to clarify the word for us, a dream, a prophecy is another story but we get to our father only through him, and he still allows us to use free will in exercising this right to go to him. How awesome is our Lord. He also does not force his holy spirit to unwilling receipents. Luke 11 verse 13

What saddens me is how this blog will be scrutinized, misunderstood and justified, in the event to invade the real truth that we all have failed short of glory, whether or not we are the discreet slave or beginners as me. I call unto to all of us today, to search deep in our conscience and look at ourselves truthfully.

It is okay as a brother pointed out to me that divison is a matter of bringing the word to reality as suggested by 1corth 11v19 reads;
19: For there must also be sects among you that the persons approved may also become manifest among you.

JESUS WAS SUCH A MORAL GIANT, can we be able to imitate him, probably not, but at least he is my hero, because he captivated people by speaking with authority, and never took glory for himself considering his station. How humble.

God bless.

Forty marks of a Christian and you focus on one mark to make your determination? The other 39 are equal in importance.

If God gave us free will then what was necessary in the death of the Second Person of the Godhead? If Christ died for the sin of the world, then what was it about sin that was necessary to send the Son to die in my stead?

According to John 3:18-19 it doesn't seem as though our will is free as Jesus states:

John 3:1 8-19..."And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved."

Jesus said no man can serve two masters. Who does the natural man in the passage above love?

And why?

And what prevents this natural man from "coming to the light (Christ)?"

And if there is prevention can we truly say man's will is free? He cannot even overcome his love affair with darkness to choose Christ (the Light). And notice the condemnation.

Is this right giving this honest consideration?

And I'm just curious, but if one was mistaken about their belief in God contrary to Scripture, and one teaches that one the way of God more fully, would this be a moral victory and show love? After all, one cannot have right relationship with God unless one has right belief of God.

Agree?

This is a very excellent post my friend. Yes, you are so right. He does not force us, he loves us. If we are truly interested in evangelizing the lost and showing them the way of of truth, we have been given instructions by our Lord on how to do so. We will speak the truth and it will be in love because telling them the truth is loving them and the Holy Spirit will guide us. Keep blogging away as the Lord directs dear Sister in Jesus. Big hug

Thanks sis, I believe God uses love because it endures longer and targets the heart, if he used force it leaves a bitter taste of control. As humans we were designed with a brain to deduce, a spiritual longing and he knows once love becomes a part of us, we are his forever. He left us a manual, the bible and it emphasis on love and everything boils down to his love for us.

Thank you for your comment. I truly think he is exceptional, he knew our hope was love and truth not judgement and law.

I agree with you in parts Jer, I don't just agree that it is the messenger prerogative to make someone decide. Yes free will, comes with consequences and let a person bare his own consequences for the choice they make. When we pass the word, we do it in love and in a dignified manner.

When Jesus saw people he did not only see sin, he saw need, he knew that their only hope was love and truth not judgement and law.
What are you delivering love or judgement. Love makes one feel they can reach out and want to enquire. Unless you approach the word with that type of love, you will encounter misunderstandings.
