WHAT DEFINES YOU??? When i woke up this morning, a thought dawned to me that my life is changing everyday just before my eyes. Every since I decided to embark on this spiritual journey 2years ago giving myself up body and soul, I discovered that I need to redefine myself. The things that would stop my heart and I felt I could not live without, now seem a bit trivial. Not to say I don't have yearnings in my life that I still pray to the lord to answer. I still do want to be the best mum ever to my , to be the best wife one day whenever, and to be able to grateful for my life. I ask for my daily bread, not too much least I forget you lord, not less least I curse you lord. I just want enough to sustain me. So I throw this question to you ladies and gentleman what defines you?? |

When I first saw the title I immediately thought He defines me. Everything I am or everything I ever hope to be is because of Him. He is the Potter, I'm just His clay! Live like there's no tomorrow Laugh when you feel like crying Love like you've never been hurt

Lol @ TM!  Well, I am being changed into the image of Christ, so I'd say that is what defines me. Jesus' work in me that I could not do, period. Good post!   "Love is Patient..."

when I look at myself I see my imperfections and realize when God looks at me he sees me as undefiled because of Jesus and what Jesus did. He sees me as a spotless bride, because of what Jesus did. He calls me Son, because of what Jesus did. I am a saint because of what Jesus did. I am complete because of Jesus.

you know... psychologists try and fix our esteem. You will not find that in the scriptures. It is as wrong as trying to keep laws to get into heaven when Jesus stands there with the key to the gates of heaven for free. We are called to identify with him. Is that hard?
