Hey you guys if you are doing this.... listen up! While you SCREAM at your woman, there's a man wishing he could whisper softly in her ear... While you HUMILIATE,OFFEND and INSULT her, there's a man flirting with her and reminding her how wonderful she is. While you HURT your woman, there's a man wishing he could love and protect her. While you make your woman CRY there's a man stealing smiles from her. “Woman was taken out of man; not out of his head to top him, nor out of his feet to be trampled underfoot; but out of his side to be equal to him, under his arm to be protected, and near his heart to be loved” I am a survivor! And sister if you're being abused you can be one too! Get out, run like all Hades is after you AND don't look back, don't go back! An abuser is an abuser is an abuser and they don't change on their own. Only God can change a heart!  Live like there's no tomorrow Laugh when you feel like crying Love like you've never been hurt |

Hi Elizabeth, right on! And you know, there are women who abuse too...right here in the blogs. In fact, I have two separate and very recent posts in mind. But back to your subject, I am amazed at what women will endure in order to be in a relationship. Oh, how I wish they'd place the Lord first in their lives! I too am a survivor...it's been many years my friend. And I'll confess that there's a part of me that is still drawn to that "bad boy" image. But all I have to do is witness what some women I know go through...and surprisingly these women are sisters in the Lord...who subjugate themselves in what I perceive is a desperate attempt to be with a man! I'm reminded of what not to do vicariously through them! Our Lord can and will supply all of our needs, and that includes bringing the wonderful man, if that be His precious will. Amen?

@ Jeremiah1five First off this blog is about spousal abuse and if you will read my response to Pat you will see I admit there are cases of women who abuse their spouses also. As far as abuse on the blogs, I shy away from these kind of blogs. I don't get involved in online altercations. God has called me to be a peacemaker and where I can I'll try to do just that...keep the peace. I was sent here as a light from The Light to shine into the darkness and that is what I am trying to be.....a light. Thank you Gloria. I guess I posted my response to jeremiah1five the same time you were posting because I missed it. I am a survivor of abuse for many years until my Beloved said enough is enough and instructed me to leave. As a Christian (my husband was not)I felt I should stay until He gave me permission to leave. You know the old saying: "you made your bed now sleep in it". And He did and I did and haven't looked back. Live like there's no tomorrow Laugh when you feel like crying Love like you've never been hurt

Jer..."Blessed are the peace makers.."...Elizabeth is a peaceful person, but I have seen her stand for the Word many times too. And you are trying to take over this post like another blogger here does constantly. This isn't about your arguement with others here. And why would we all want to get into every fight that comes up on bc? There's not enough time for that lol. Also you are in a fight that you took part in starting. I've watched all along, and tried to talk with you about it about a long time ago. I never ask anyone to get involved in any quarrel I have with anyone here. And then accuse them of not being a brother or sister for not taking up for me. I think you need to think and pray about my words here. be blessed   "Love is Patient..."

Donnie, I took Elizabeth's post as that the husband is puting his vulnerable, beat down women in danger from just what you said....Satan using another man to cause her to commit emotional, or physical adultery. I don't think Elizabeth was condoning anything like that, just stating facts. blessings "Love is Patient..."

Donny and Robyn , the point I was trying to make here is this.....one man's 'trash' can be another man's 'treasure'. Take care of what you have 'cause you can just as easily lose it. NO I DO NOT condone adultery! I don't even like divorce but sometimes there is just no other way. And again this post is all about spousal abuse not adultery! That's a whole 'nuther can of worms. Amen sis, sorry if I read more into it, or got something more from it than you intended. Aren't ya glad ya shared now lol? Thanks for sharing because I got alot out of it, and I think others will too. You just keep doing what God leads cause everyone who knows you, knows who you serve. "Love is Patient..."

Isn't God awesome? I love the way He talks to us in His own special way and in different ways. He knows what each of us need and when we need it.
