Judge Gently

Pray, don't find fault with the man who limps
Or stumbles along the road.
Unless you have worn the shoes he wears
Or struggled beneath his load.

There may be tacks in his shoes that hurt
Though hidden away from view.
Or the burden he bears placed on your back
Might cause you to stumble too.

Don't sneer at the man who's down today
Unless you have felt the blow
That caused his fall or felt the shame
That only the fallen know.

You may be strong but still the blows
That was his if dealt to you
In the selfsame way, at the selfsame time
Might cause you to stagger too.

Don't be too harsh with the man who sins
Or pelt him with word or stone
Unless you are sure - yea, doubly sure
That you have no sins of your own.

For you know, perhaps, If the tempter's voice
should whisper as soft to you
As it did to him when he went astray
It might cause you to falter too.

May the Lord bless you and keep you

How do you do that? I can honestly say that the voice of the Lord speaks to me through your words. I feel like I am that man who limps along the road struggling to find my place, life has knocked me down but it sure hasnt knocked me out, I carry on because he loves me. In the words of a song .. "He knew me yet he loved me, he who's glory made the heavens shine, so unworthy of such mercy, when he was on the cross I was on his mind !"

God Bless you and from the bottom of my heart, thank you. I look forward to your next blog.

Amen my friend!
With all the flaws I have, how dare I judge another's. I heard one time that our judgements are mirrors, we judge people for what we see in ourselves. Ouch!
Love and Hugs

Lord, keep one hand on my shoulder and one hand over my mouth!
