Recognition Of The Creator “I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.” Ps. 139:14. A study of man’s physical being shows that there must have been a mastermind at work in his creation. Every mechanism of the body reveals the work of a divine hand. The eye is more perfect than any camera that has ever been invented by human genius. The ear is more delicate to sound than any music instrument, or any stereo, that has ever been invented. The human mind is a masterpiece. It would be impossible to put together a computer that has the connections with which the human brain is endowed. Could there be such an instrument invented, it would take a skyscraper to house it and a Niagara to keep it cool. Yet all these neural connections are bound together within one small area. The ability to use language and to communicate thought is another of God’s great gifts to the human family. In spite of all the evidence for a divine creation men are so intent upon excluding God form the sovereignty of the universe, that they degrade man, and defraud him of the dignity of his origin. In contradiction to a special creation, man has fabricated the theory (and that is what it is) of evolution. This doctrine leads to idealistic pantheism or materialistic atheism. Those who accept this theory dispense with a personal God and deny the doctrine of the Trinity. The origin of sin is treated as a legend or a myth. To the evolutionist man has not fallen from a holy estate. There is no need of a Redeemer, as man is continually improving and can become his own savior. The theory of evolution has its foundation in the idea that nature works by her own inherent powers. Thus God is denied. The last message to be given to the world is one calling people away from such groundless theories and setting clearly before them that God, as Ruler of the universe, was the Creator of all things and that He alone is worthy of worship. Let us fear God and give glory to Him. May the Lord bless you and keep you |
