I am so thankful to Him today

I live in South Florida and all I wanted to say is that I am greatful today. Hurricane Rita missed us just like Hurricane Katrina. I live very, very close to Miami and I see God's hand in my life. I see God's hand in the salvation of me and my family and again, I am grateful. Thank you Lord because we have never felt Your full force or power. I say this because I am reading a book called "The Prayer That Changes Things" by Stormie O'Martin and I was blown away at this thought: God is like a father that is tall and mighty, you feel protected and loved and it escapes you to even notice the fact that he can crush you because his love for you is so great! I personally never had that feeling towards my earthly father, but I am learning to seek it in my Heavenly Father! Thank you, Father for Your mercy. Your mercy endureth forever!!!
