A praise report for Outpost Ministries in Minneapolis.

A donor bequeathed his estate to them. Unfortunately, he passed away suddenly this year.

Outpost received a very needed $96,000.

Thank you for your prayers for this ministry. I've seen quite a few hits on it.

Thank you for such an oppertunity. Here is mine.

Mission America Coalition: is a national level, loosely knit, prayer ministry, with a burning desire to bring transformation through collaboration and a prayer-care-share lifestyle of evangelism.
Mission America is a major supporter of the National Day of Prayer, the Global Day of Prayer, and the National Night Out.

Their main objective is to unify in prayer and fellowship, individual churches within a given community, which in turn unifies them with other communities and cities throughout the country. (USA)

It's time for us to put aside our denomenational, and minor doctrinal differences. Stop judging each other, and trying to remove the speck from the eye of our fellow believers, while ignoring the beam in our own eye.

We have garnished, and even become proud of the notion that we, and\or our particular church is somehow, more spiritual, more doctrinally correct, and\or more in touch with God then our neighboring church down the street, other churches in our community, state, and country. This has led to unprecidented divisions within the body of Christ, reduced our ability to function as one body with many different parts, and brought no small amount of mistrust against other members of the family of faith whom we should be trusting as much as we do our own local congragation.

It is not Mission America's desire to combine churches, or create a new church of which the others are subordenate to. This is absolutely not the world wide church that everyone is afraid of.
But a coalition, or association among already established churches to pray together, and fellowship with each other. It can be done, and it does work.

My city, (Cedar Rapids Iowa) is one of nine origional pilot cities which has been involved in this pursuit. The results of which have been nothing short of absolute miricles. I won't go into it here, but encourage all to do a Google search of the Mission America Coalition, which will take you to it's home page where you can read about the unity and miricles God has blessed Cedar Rapids with.

BTW, what started in 9 pilot cities just a couple years ago, is now up to 17 cities. My city had a couple dozen churches participating a year and half ago, and now it's approaching 50. Despite the fact that we lost over 30 churches to a historical flood just over a year ago.

Mission America's prayer need is for many more prayer people, more unity, more churches and cities to come aboard, and more people in the Christian community to get past our minor differences, embrace unity, and discoarage division.

Isaiah 66:2b; But to this one I will look, To him who is humble and contrite of spirit, and who trembles at My word.

My favorite ministry is Joyce Meyers' - she has helped me learn and grow so much!

Walking, and praising and trusting my Lord for the rest of my life

Very ironically, after I posted this, I found an urgent email from Outpost Ministries' director, Dan Puumala. (Outpost is an ex-gay ministry based around Minneapolis.)

They've also been evicted from their building and will have to move immediately. He's requested prayer.

Personally, Dan is losing his eyesight due to glaucoma.

Oops, you too, dundeal. Children's ministry is very, very humble and important! Handling a 3 year old meltdown requires great spiritual fruit!

Wow Terrie, praying here. Well, my fav ministry ...boy that's hard, there are so many. I guess our own always springs to mind. I guess other than what God has me doing, my gf here who is teaching our women's study, and is majoring in Global ministry, would be my fav. It's for women who are in ministry all around the world. I've read some of the lessons she took, and it's about giving the Gospel, not our western ideas or culture. I liked it alot. There are many other ministries I love too. Like Terrie's
