Disappointment and dishonesty

When dealing with disappointment in life, I remember how the Lord had to bear all things first. When I think about Judas, I think about the dishonesty of the kiss on the cheek with Jesus, how at that very moment he was deceiving Him, while being a disciple no less.
I am writing this blog to my Christian friends to please beware on people posing as someone they are really not. My experience has been that I thank God for discernment, and I was able to find out in time about these Nigerian internet romance scams. Member's photos are being used to scam each other, while really, there is someone at an internet cafe in Nigeria or West Africa, having created a profile on BigChurch.com, widowed, have a in which one may be sick, are on a contract job in the United Kingdom or Nigeria (Bonny Island to be exact) for an oil rig. These people make a living doing this, and are very creative and innovative in using the word of God to lure the compassion and kindness of a true Christian. All of a sudden tragedy will happen to them, and before you know it good Christian men and women are sending them money. The Lord has always protected me and being in His hands, the Holy Spirit test the fruit of the spirit. Don't send money! It was real fast that God enlightened me that I did not do so. In a very short amount of time, it appears that this person falls in love with you, to the point where you are wondering that it is kind of uncanny how fast they are doing this, without seeing you in person.
Their words are lovely indeed, almost like from a love letter or Hallmark post card! They drip with kindness, God's words and dreams of a future that is not really going to happen.
You will like the "persona" so much that if it does happen, you will be 1)angry that the scammer is on dangerous ground using the Lord's words for dishonesty 2)emotionally betrayed if you are conversating and they've learned about you and wrote you back, embedding what they've learned about you in their precious words 3) not wanting them to ever take another person's hopes and dreams of finding a life partner and mess with that again so they can't even trust another person's pic or profile without questioning 4) embarrassment for having played a long for a while--but not long for me! 5) disappointment that the person you really thought had potential for you does not exist, nor his (which one was sick in the hospital), nor his dreams of raising a family in the admonition of the Lord. Even after denying it, my only response is yeah, and a snake has lips too. Given the 5% chance that I really made a mistake, and this person really is in Africa where he got robbed and needs money, I have some big making up to do, yet there would have to be some pretty substantial proof. Purposely, Christian websites are targeted for the compassion we have because of the fruit of the Spirit.
Still we must walk by faith as the Lord did. Of course, His whole crucifixion was the result of deception stemming from the father of all lies. Hang in there saints...
So I write with some discouragement, nevertheless, my God promises to restore everything and then some! How we all must trust His timing; I wish He would hurry up but then again Rome wasn't built in a day.
Let's just hope that I will not have to see a therapist running into scam after scam with games where I am to the point of looking at an innocent man and suspect the hair on his nose and it's all over. lol What am I supposed to think now without someone having to prove themselves? Who can counsel better than the Lord in regards to this? He did it once and he'll do it again.
My heart is not closed and it is none of my business to ask why?
There are some wonderful suitors out there....I just hope they can run because I'll be chasing after them to get my exercise in. I just hope one day they can share my Tigger socks with me--hmm how manly. Maybe if I make him bounce in them it will be more realistic -- If I bounce, well that's for him to find out if he'll be knocked out or not. Way off subject.
Therefore, please be aware of the following criteria" 1)widowed but never explains what disease 2) sick in hospital 3)claims to live in some city in the U.S. but traveling to U.K. or Africa for a job 4)sudden emergency 5)parents have died young 6)appealing to you with romance and God's words to personalize and touch your love for the Lord.
This particular name was LoveoftheLord47. He has been reported.

"Exercise caution in affairs, for the world is full of trickery. But let this not blind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals; and everywhere life is full of heroism."
