my dysfunctional family

Hey ALL;
We were supposed to have a picnic for my mom's 78th birthday but they cancelled at the last minute. I was not too happy about that. At 78 who knows how many more picnic's will one get to? They said they cancelled it because of a lack of interest, but I think it was because of selfishness and hatred. One group doesn't like the other group. One group wouldn't come because the other group wasn't planning on bringing any food and one in the other group said, "I'm not going to feed the whole family" There were others that were going to bring stuff, but they just got their hynny in the air about stuff. I guess that is what comes when a lot of them aren't saved. So much bitterness and unforgiveness. As a Christian, I get so tired of dealing with all of their crap. I know I have to continue to pray for them and love them. I just thought that was selfish not getting together for my mother. How many more birthdays will she have? Will any of us have? None of us are promised tomorrow. "Life is but a vapor" Life is soooo short. I just want to let out a Charlie Brown UGGGGGG!!!!
PLEASE PRAY FOR MY FAMILY AND FOR ME TO BE A GOOD WITNESS TO THE NON-BELIEVERS.
GOD BLESS.--PUCKY

I totally agree with how upset you are .. and I am so sorry .. it really IS sad..

Though I have a great idea .. why not take your mom out to a nice dinner just the two of you .. and/or some place she would LOVE to go .. even if it's not to your liking .. talk to her about LIFE .. most importantly the one she's led .. as you already know .. there isn't much more of it left ..

after she's gone you will probibly remember that birthday picnic that never happened and be glad for it .. forever ..

and in the end .. is there ever a better witness then love? (as you would be showing your mom?!)

btw .. if it's passed do it anyways .. it's never too late ..

... This message has been brought to you by the Justin Case Network .. official sponsor of the Foot in Mouth clubs of America .. with your support we WILL find a cure!

Pucky, I'm sorry that happened with your family and I will pray for you and them. Its hard being a Joseph in a dysfunctional family and I've had to do it for years in mine. One day they will see the truth as they see the light in you. Many Blessings and know God will restore what was lost!!!

Please remember to keep our soldiers in your prayers!!! Kristy
