Very nice tribute to your friend.

Memories are the stories we hang on to until we once again meet those of whom we shared the experiences.

You shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free.

Thanks Tom. Friday had been a rainy and very sad day. I spent it crying and writing by turns. God gave me beauty for ashes that day. At least my grieving was productive for a time.

Dear OnamissionfromGod,

Thank you for your condolences. Yes, that is such a beautiful picture. Somehow it seemed appropriate for this poem.

I hope and pray for healing too.

You are blessed to live in Texas. A lot of my favorite preachers from television have their ministries there.

Dear Maryann,

Thank you for your compliments. Blanche was such a dear woman. I was very blessed to have her for as long as I did. Now it is hard to function in balancing school and home responsibilities. It does help to have friends from BC like you. Losing a pivotal person in my life makes me see how cold the world can be. This makes me appreciate acts of kindness even more.

Thank you Chrissy and Parley for your condolences. It does take someone who has been there to be able to empathize and provide comfort.

I went to a Christian conference this past weekend. Now I'm nursing a cold. That is why I haven't been online much. Sorry for the delayed responses.

Have a blessed rest of the weekend!
