What's so great about your state? Why do you live where you live?

Dear Bill,

I have heard from many of my friends that their grandchildren have dictated where they end up living or eventually retiring.

Of course, the nice sunny Florida weather has nothing to do with your choice!

Here's hoping you have a beautiful time with those grandkiddies!

Thank you so much M23B! Those are all very compelling reasons to move to Wisconsin.

May God bless you wherever you are! In Wisconsin or Canada.

BTW I love dog friendly places too. No big surprise there!

Hugs,
Scottie

Hello Goldens!

The familiar can indeed be comforting. It takes a powerful wanderlust drive to cause a person to relocate.

I've driven through Nebraska and was impressed with the giant cornfields. The people were really friendly too.

Thank you so much for contributing!

When I was watching a show on Nat Geo they were talking about how puppy mills were NOT illegal according to any state laws anywhere in the United States. Shocking that such cruelty is legal.

I live in a beautiful part of the country. Living one hour from Lake Tahoe, one of the most beautiful lakes in the world. We have all four seasons here, with some of the most beautiful cloud formations that I have ever seen. There are different activities for everyone from Hot August Nights for classic car buffs, to the Rib Cook Off. And I am only four hours from the Pacific Ocean and California shopping.

Don't judge each day by the Harvest you reap, but by the seeds you plant.

Dear Shirl,

Thank you for contributing. For some odd reason I thought you would just have one season near Tahoe... a long hot summer lasting year round. I appreciate knowing how beautiful it is there and have added it to my list of places to visit.

GBY!
