Now is the time to unite and support instead of divide and fight. The voters have spoken and we are seeing change, that is our way, our process and what makes the USA great. It would seem we are in some very tough times but we as a people do not need to make them worse by being divided. I am proud to be an American and I support and pray for those elected. I encourage you to do so also. Now, lets move forward to one of the best years of our lives. |

I agree. Although I disagree with his politics, here is something an African American friend of mine sent to me. Rosa sat so Martin could walk, Obama could run, and our children could fly. Faith is not believing that God can - It's knowing that He will!

It is time to look up and rejoice seems to me.. This election seemed to stir me more than any I ever remember. A lot looked so beautiful and felt so bad. Thank you for you great words.

Hi Rugged, indeed very turbulent times, absolutely time to pray, it's never time to divide. I look at the works of the enemy and of God in sort of a mathematical sense, God adds and multiplies, the enemy divides and subtracts, I know a simplification but still gets the point across. Shalom

you are full of it, I do not hate God and Obama does, I am not a marxist or racist and he is. Its time to raise up and fight against this evil moron. You do not unite with the unGodly. The voters spoke? Did they? Acorn cheats and nothing is done? Men intimidating voters? 20 year olds voting that know nothing and have done nothing at this point in life. This man was born in Kenya. He is not even an American which disqualifies him. Unite with the things our forefathers died to stop from happening? Hopefully the militia's stand up and do something. Martin Luther King should never be used with Obama in a sentence, He was a Republican. He was not a communist-racist. That statement is Pathetic

It has saddened me deeply how the intense loud mouth liberals have divided this country and brought great and unwarranted shame onto President Bush, Christians, and Republicans. Now is not the time to be divided NOR is ANY time for Americans to be divided against one another and against our president. Jesus tells us that we should always support our leaders. He did not say, Do not support George Bush but do support Obama. The liberals all say how wonderful the world was when Clinton was president. Hogwash! He left a mess that George Bush had to try and fix. He ignored the terrorist bombings on our naval ships and world trade center. He took our hard earned money and stuffed it into the pocket of the government. I remember very well how much those tax raises hurt my pocketbook and took groceries out of my home and how I had to struggle even harder to try and make ends meet. God bless you my friend! I feel it speaks a huge amount to the fall of our people in this nation when they are so blinded they do not see what they have voted for, but that still does not make me want to cause division or fight against the rights I fought for in Vietnam. I do NOT feel the body of Christ should be a militant group full of HATE. I feel without LOVE the spirit of the Lord is not found in them. I truly do feel we are in the END TIMES.. I do feel this may well help scripture be fulfilled and I wish we as the BODY of Christ would have been different for a lot of the past years but I feel there was toooo much division and haltered with fighting between even the saved to be united enough to hardly stop a flea from crossing the road. Come QUICKLY Lord Jesus before even the supposed Christan's try to kill each other while not even seeing the enemy or that they are being divided.

Sister, you are very correct but we know it says they will say or say peace and safety and then sudden destruction cometh upon them. We also often hear the words "strong delusion" and I think perhaps I have witnessed it in mass for the first time in my life as I watched this election. I have always known the Word says it, but I have always wondered how the masses would ever believe in "peace and safety" or any of the other things, but I feel I saw the masses on TV last night as they seemed so jubilant while I felt sickened. I guess it made me think of Daniel 11 where it says: "he shall come in peaceably and obtain the kingdom by flatteries". Yes peace is what we all should want.. I think now is a time we find that peace with our spouse and our few true family or believers. We may have to stand alone with just one of two as of course many will have believed a lie. I trust some of us will find our one to be with as we go through these times. I am not sure we will have much of anyone else we can even talk to depending where we are or how we decide to live.

You have said a great deal here that many will never ever accept or chance giving God a chance. You are correct He knew the outcome and He brings up the leaders and causes them to fall. Yes, it may take all of this into a new era or it may end all as we know it. It sure is changing and we need to watch and pray rather than try to change what God has in control.

Thank you Sister.. I of course do not feel we need to lay down and play dead on a lot of what I feel we will soon be faced with as we see WRONG introduced.. I am not sure what all that wrong will be, but I feel it will happen. I do not think we should support many things, but I do feel we need to try to start being known for a people of love and prayer rather than a people of fight.. NOW I do feel we have a new elect Commander and Chief that our military is to follow and those troops do not need to see our lack of support for them or the one they are to follow.. I am not sure what way he will lead all this, but I do not think he will do radically wrong on it at the onset.. Who knows later. I know what it is like to be spit on and called baby killer because the people hated the president... I never want to see that again even though I see it happening and had one of my sons spit on because he wore an Army cap just last year. I did not go to Vietnam to see our country that divided again, but it is happening.. If we as Christan's can not in many parts support our leaders we are no better than the ones who believe the lie. God brought them to power even if they are only cheese in his mouse trap.. We will know them by their LOVE.. I know I say and say that, but it is true. AND trust me, I know what it is to come back as a teenager full of hate .. It took more years of crying and praying than most will ever know to learn if I could ever love again.

Yes much truth and yes I would feel it is a time when I would wish to have a woman.. yes for our helping each other.. for our snuggling and hiding our head in the sand some days .. well with a good wood fire maybe or something.. and of course for our encouragaing each other. Most times I am not much for other people, and that might well often limit who I have in my life, who knows. Thank you for your great comments.. and very right..

Hi Rugged, I see you met Dennis. Just pray for him, I think he means well, it often appears there are issues of anger within him that is just in need of a little TLC from the Lord. But hey, don't sweat it, everyone isn't like that, some of us realize displays of anger and the hostile approach is the opposite of Christ's nature and we try to avoid that tempatation of the flesh, but let's be honest, none of us are immune to the tempation. Too many forget that any truth, any message, anything not done in love is dung, or perhaps they just don't know any better. In either event I'm hoping you will see the difference and perhaps grow closer to the Lord yourself as you hang out here among us, we're all a work in progress, myself probably more than most, lol.
