FAITH IS! Just like the wind, you don't see it.

I have been running into a few atheists for some reason
lately so maybe the following will help you think in, be lead of the spirit to
defend your faith.

At a young age the Lord lead me to the bible, the bible DID
NOT lead me to the Lord. The bible is not God, it tells about God and all of
His love and mercies and from cover to cover, it tells the story of His ,
His beloved One the Lord Jesus Christ.

One day when I was nine years old in a room alone thinking
about consciousness and the meaning of life when out of know where an inner
voice came to my consciousness and said, "I am here and I am alive!"
The voice was very soft, like a whispering in the wind. I knew that it was the
Lord Jesus Christ, I just knew it, do not ask me to explain but I knew that I
knew the Lord from that day forward. It was not until two years later that I
started reading the bible. "Why two years?" your ask me; because that
is the way the Lord lead me. It was better to hear that soft voice like the
hidden force of the quiet wind. I would rather hear the Lord's voice one on one
than read the bible, but at the age of eleven He asked me to start reading the
bible so I did.

Now, the scripture says to "defend your faith,"
and "study to show yourself approved." Nowhere in the bible will you
find the statement; "defend your bible." The first thing that
atheists will attack is the bible which I could care less, because I will not
defend the bible I will defend what I know to be true and that is my Lord and Savior
Jesus Christ the beginning and end of my faith. The bible is true because God
had it written, an atheist cannot attack the abstract. Now, if you say God is
true because the bible says so then the atheist will say "it is just a
worthless book with pages of brainwashing nonsense and you have made your own
religion out of what some other man or men have written." Do you see the
difference? Defending the bible is not
defending your faith; the Apostle Paul was quite clear "defend the (your)
faith.." In Paul's time they did not have a New Testament.

You defend what you know to be true because you know it is
true, it is within you and that is the love of Christ who has given you the
faith to believe. You defend what you know to be true and that is your faith in
God. You do not defend someone else's faith i.e., something that someone else
has told you to defend; that is why we have so many denominations that say,
"this is the right way be cause the bible says so." That is what all
the different denominations say isn't it?

Defend your faith in all abstract thought for in this life
God is abstract to the worldliness of the world; but not to us that He has give
faith to believe. Atheists cannot deal with the abstract like "life and
death," what two abstract words those are. In addition, love and hate, why
love or hate? More abstract words. I am born again! How do I know it? Because I
know it, it is witness within me.

PS, I am still working on that little thing about Moses for
you, but really, I have been very busy… God's love and peace to all of you…

A modern day pharisee has left a commit, read her statement and decide where true life is, in her religious beliefs and obvious fears or in faith in Christ where there is no fears.
