~Unveiling the Mystery of a Woman

That is the subtitle for the book "Captivating".

For any of you men out there who would like to perhaps understand women a bit better, find out what truly makes them tick and find out things you never even knew about them , I highly recommend the book "Captivating" by John and Stasi Elderedge...it is GOOD, GOOD, GOOD!!!

I am currently in chapter four, which talks about the wounds that have happened to most women over their lifetimes. The enemy, hates us with a special hatred (we bring life into the world) since the fall in the garden of Eden. The enemy does the best he can to utterly destroy us either physically, emotionally or spiritually and many times in all ways possible. Usually at the hands of people who are our fathers, brothers, friends, husbands. We have been neglected, disregarded, abused, ignored, insulted, betrayed and abandoned, and usually by those who have claimed their love for us. This is where Jesus steps in and becomes our Knight in Shining Armour. (while we also wait for our Knight in Shining Armour in real life too).

I will keep you updated. But this is an excellent book and the companion book written by John is called "Wild at Heart" written about the men and their roles in life/marriage/family as well.

I wanted to post this to tell you all out there that there is hope and light at the end of the tunnel. If any of you are suffering or hurting from past wounds or devestation, there is hope, found through Jesus Christ and His work on the cross.

You know , I never worry to read all these types of books. I don't want to remake woman, GOD has made her perfece already. I just want to meet her requirements, so I read 1Cor: 13. all about LOVE, love overcomes everything. LOVE = kindness , thoughtful , caring , attention , + + +. Every person/woman have different traits, you don't want to listen all about womEN, You want to learn and understand womAN , the one you are/will be, with. SO, man, LISTEN to her, pay attention when she is speaking and you will know every thing about HER, FIRSTHAND. Then apply LOVE.
