A Good Chance... Hello Everyone... I haven't been around much because I have been "seeing" someone--a man named Chance! We have been talking and emailing, IM-ing and phoning since last summer. There were many times we could not communicate, due to a terrible accident, which took the life of his passenger and severely injured Chance. An 18-wheeler crossed the center line and pinned his small car against the guard rail.... God has kept him alive, though death came to call several times. For months at a time, I did not know whether he was alive in heaven or struggling here on earth. At last he has been well enough to communicate, and since Dec 31st (0  , we have been in constant communication. Our hearts have been knit together, it seems, as his body is being knit together as well.As far as knowing how we feel? Head over heels. God's will: We are in His hands. Please, I ask for prayer for Chance...he has more recovery ahead of him. He is just getting to where he can take some steps without a walker...his heart and brain issues seem to be okay!!...but he has scar tissue in his "gut" that may need surgery to repair...thank you for lifting him up. And I ask your prayers, too, that God would continue to guide us each as individuals and as a couple, as we work toward meeting one another live-and-in-person. We hope this will take place by the end of March, but everything is centered on his continued healing. He is a good, kind man, and whatever God does, it has been my privilege to pray for him and encourage him when we barely knew each other, and when I didn't know if he had survived. God is good.
