Why are you on BC ? It is okay to be silly!!!

I first came on BC a couple years ago searching for mate, but I am no longer here for that reason. Like many on here, I work full time and spend time studying the word. I am also taking a few classes at the local Jr. college. I seldom go to blogs with long doctrinal issues. I save that for my time with the Lord and times when He opens the door for me to share my beliefs with others. My job can be very stressful especially at this time of year. During the last year I have been awakened many times during the night for work related issues. My life is filled with responsibilities. I come on to BC so I can interact with other Christian singles in a light hearted manner, to take a load off my long days, and to get a chuckle. I miss Gregduncan. I wish he would not have left. I am sure he had his reasons. Why do you come on to BC?

I too came on here searching for a mate. In my view, whatever happens, happens. God's timing, not mine. I have made many good friends here whom I admire and respect, you being one of them. I enjoy conversing by chat with people in my age bracket and I have learned a lot from them. I enjoy reading the blogs and pondering different viewpoints. However, I will not argue with anyone about God's Word or about arguments between members. I would like to say that I don't take what happens on here seriously, but there are some people that I pray for daily and that I am truly concerned about. I have to always remember, that I am dealing with real live humanoids here who are God's kids, not just words on a screen. God bless ya sis!

If you don't know me you haven't missed much - but if you don't know Jesus you've missed everything!!

I came because Windsage talked me into it...for the blogs. I'm not into internet dating. Works for many but it's a little freaky for me. LOL Far away people whom you don't really know..I dunno..whatever works for ya..have at it.
Anyway...I blog..read blogs and respond. The people who cut n paste from the internet and post fifteen blogs in a row....nah..can't read em. my ADD takes over...cant pay attention for that long. Jeezz..I don't even know how some people make it all the way through some of my posts. Half the time I ramble on like soaringwithcris. LOL

LOL, Bel!

Am I on BC, or am I not? This is the "puzzle! Question and Answers! If I am on, I cannot be off, and if I'm off I cannot be on. Both simultaneously would give a paradox, wouldn't they? Though one can be stand-by: not really on, yet not off either!

Other puzzles:
Am I serious or am I silly? Is there really a balance between being serious and being silly? Something like "seriousilly" or "sillyerious"? (the latter used already by wpx1, the one with the fountain)

Skariff2 was being silly and you took him seriously! LOL! Good he confirmed that later! Jeff was being both serious and silly, Balancing, you say? He said he was just being consequent! Interpretation was actually "dumped" here, while "the Dumper" went into hibernation! lahlimama and savedphyli are being "sincerious" and seem to "call a spade for a spade". lahli always smiles because she is surrounded 24/7 by a lot of joyous children! GodsJolene here sounds more funny than silly, but I can't pronounce myself further! Is she the Jolene you posted earlier? By freewayryder I have only "one" comment in my blog, and she is more in chat rooms than here. However she has more posts that GodsJolene and yourself. Gregduncan had "prolly" to take a break 'cause his beard was so long that he couldn't even see the keys anymore. Soaringwithchris(t) aka Dæffy uses his TV remote control to type blogs, and his TV to read them. He makes short blogs because his TV doesn't scroll well, and consumes several AA batteries almost every week! Whenever you wish to have some fun and ramblings, you should try to interact with him. Just tell that Duckie sent you. Warning: Just don't tell him your age!

Regarding me, I'm a mistery! That's oceanblue122's words. Before she said that I considered myself just a puzzle. Why I'm here, no one knows, neither I! Sometimes we are "led by and with the wind" and we don't actually question where that wind comes from and goes to. Then we finally land. I remember someone here that was even caught in a sandstorm... but it went well at the end!

As for the right hovering with the wind, I always suggest to "hover in the Spirit", besides the walking of course!

I think I wrote all that struck my mind for the moment. I can add more as it comes...
I really strained to be short!

Bel, are you serious??? You must be kiddin'! Or are you trying to prove the "paradox"?
I've always used the green color (sometimes darker), and here I was using the same font size 2, you are using.
Btw, your blog's background color is a little too dark. (I could write in white!! LOL!)

I could add a background, but I will use darkred for this comment.
Now please tell me again what I have to do, or I will certainly repost the entire comment!!!
Try me!! LOL!

Yes I am serious. I realized my font is too small. I asked someone else to use a size two and he said he was. So lets try 4 ok? Your funny though. Your always welcome in my blog but please use font size four. If you do that, then color probably won't matter much.

Hello again Bel!

OK, let's talk bigga business!!
Before I do anything at all, I would like you to check first you browser's settings (try another one too). You will most certainly find an option that tells you how to increase/decrease the text fonts of the page in question.

Also in your browser's main settings/preferences/options one should be able to change the default fonts, so whatever page you browse won't show smaller than the fixed size you set.

Another space-saving possibility, is to go to BC's settings and remove the Vote option to the right (disagree, neutral and agree). Unless you can't do without them! This might give you more space for the text, instead of scrolling horizontally all the time.

I hope this will help. I find it strange though, that only you need a size 4 to be able to read!! (It's rather huuuuge, ya know?? (And don't forget to tell us how it went!)

Thanks BB, I went to internet options etc, but still it does not enlarge the font size. Maybe I need to re-load my browser. It is late, so i am signing off but I will try to work on it later. Thanks for the tips.

I came on BC to see if there might be a Christian guy who is interested in me. I occasionally contact a guy, but prefer if a man contacts me. Am I old-fashioned? Sorry to say, not much going on right now, but happily, I continue to remind myself that God is in control.

I was going to say that I came here because I don't have a home church yet and needed to refresh my memory on how to gossip, complain and accuse!! Actually, I just try to avoid the drama for the most part; cause my own once in a while. Have met some nice folks on here as well, bless em.

I'm here like another said, oops why did I come here in the first place. OK WANT ME TO BE HONEST??? E-GADSthat's a scary thought! Now what was the question I'll have to go back and re-read, just a minute

Ok (tree minutes later) What was that Q? again.

I did it to stay Straight. I needed BC to keep my life in order. And boy at the same time realized how nieve I was to different types of faith - so it has been the Learning Channel. I have also found out that I can write what I believe without ridicule. Becuase I perfer to believe a simple faith rather then all the doctrinal faith that alot of church's preach. By expressing myself here I have been able to work through issues I never would have dared speak about before. I have friends here I need in my life. My eye's have been opened to issues I needed to deal with or am dealing with.

Becuase of this site I was able to get over some bad things in my life that opened the doors for me and I was able to see goodness in things I had shut my heart to. Like I found a Church that I love and its only a few miles from me. I knew of its existance but had a view of it that wasn't true until working through some life struggles here at BC. The Church - Mission Covenent Church, Poplar WI. I feel at home in this church, like never before, it brings back memories of a little mission I went to as a kid for Bible school.

I guess the big thing for me is blogging. I love to write in a little abstract way. not quite the norm and that's probably more of what you may see from me. The ocassional inner me.

But I am not looking for a date here. Never came here for that and feel slightly intimadted by that at times. I love being single and... FREE!

That's just something I don't understand "Why is it that people feel so depressed if they don't have a mate?"

Like I say in my profile "Hit me over the head with a frying pan and you could change my mind." One day at
a gas station and heard a girl behind the counter say "The only way I am ever going to get a man in my life is if I hit him over the head with a frying pan". I'll tell ya, I had a panic attack, that was way to close for comfort, I got outta there as fast as I could!

But that could happen and then MAYBE I would pursue her, but I'm not looking for it.

I think I have said enough, Good things happen in God's timing and his timing is not my timing. So when it happens it happens or may not happen, but either way it's up to God. Tomarrow I could go to church and meet the woman of my dreams, but for now I am going to enjoy every moment just as it is placed before me. Opps almost forgot you like big words.

Don't believe everything you think, God is not a cookie cutter God!
Laughing at yourself is better then laughing at someone else.
