108 dead and fears of that number rising There have been 108 deaths according to the latest news report this morning, and fears that there will be more casualties in the fires in Vic, just on the outskirts of Melbourne, not far fron where Pen and Chrissy56 are. Many people are seriously wounded from burns and 1000's of homes destroyed and countless people homeless. This is the worst natural disaster our country has seen. Many towns have been completely wiped oot and of the map! Is this another sign of the end times, or just another freak of nature? The body of Christ is like a patchwork quilt! All stitched together with God's love. |

Just got off of the phone with Chrissy. She is okay. She said it is devastating that people were caught in their cars trying to escape the fire and were consumed. She said Clay and Penelpe are farther North, they are okay too. I couldn't get ahold of Chrissy at first so I called Clay on his cell phone, no answer. So I called Chrissy back and got thru. She said the closest the fires got to her was 12 to 14 miles away. She said the whole sky has been bright orange. She also said that power has been out for awhile. She was gathering clothing, etc. with her friend Wendy to help those who have lost everything. Thank God for Telstar 011! The body of Christ is like a patchwork quilt! All stitched together with God's love.

Thanks Steve for letting us know that they are all ok. I am so relieved to know that Chrissy is out of danger and helping those who were not so fortunate. What a horrible thing to have happened to all those people. God have mercy on them, and all of us. Blessings
