So...whatchadoooin??? Hi everyone. Its been a while. Just wanted to drop in briefly to say hello and fill you in on how the Lord continues to transform my life. A few months back, I heard loud and clear that I was to leave BigChurch...I was focused too much on being here and it was taking alot of my time...and the Lord is jealous! Praise God He loves us so much to request more of our time! I have spent most of the last several months immersing myself in knowing Him. And what a ride it has been. I sit here grinning from ear to ear. The Lord has placed such joy in my heart. After all these weeks events, I can smile and laugh. And when people start to wallow in the fears of this world, I have been able to reach out and say "Trust God" Two simple words, but what power they hold in a fearful world. Trust God, I tell them. His kingdom is not shaking, His kingdom is solid and true and eternal. Which kingdom would you rather claim citizenship to - this crumbling world, or God's eternal kingdom? People are desperate for hope, and folks - now is our time!! We can bring that hope to people. The Lord has given us such an amazing opportunity to tell people about Him! The Lord challenged me to step outside myself and take some chances. He asked me to write a book, which I am doing. He told me to get involved in an evangelical, Bible thumpin' church! I have found an awesome home and am learning so much and making friends. He continues to challenge me financially to give beyond my means, but by now I know that He will never fail me, and giving is a joyous and fun mission! He has placed incredible dreams on my heart for the next 10 years and even though I know I have to wait for His time, I am so impatient to get started! It has now been a full year since I was Saved PRAISE YOU JESUS. I smile when I think of those who told me the initial euphoria would wear off - God told me as long as I seek Him I will continue to grow in joy...and I believe Him! My each have their own Bible and through all the recent gloom and doom, they have remained steadfast in Gods promises as well. What a blessing. Now let me be clear on one thing - in the natural, my life could be better. The and I have decided to try to sell the house before it is taken from us...but we've turned it into a fun endeavor. As we will necessarily have to move someplace smaller, we are looking into ways to give away the excess furniture and toys to the needy...I briefly thought of selling it for cash but the Lord quickly dismissed that idea. The very fact that He is speaking to me on this makes me compeletely comfortable about what we are doing. Still havent met anyone but I just know that when God places him in front of me, it'll be worth the wait. I pray that all who read this simply let go of the world and trust God. Get into His word, listen to His voice. He has such amazing, joyful things for you. He is our Dad!! He loves His !! Of COURSE He is caring for us! "Trust God" AMEN, AMEN, AMEN, AMEN!!!! Great to see you, Sis!! Was just looking at my profile pictures of when we finally met!!! (((((((((hugs))))))))) Was thinking of you and praying you were well and then I come in and find your post 3 mins later!! Brad and I wish you well always!!!!
