BC Evangelists We have many folks here who preach and teach. They are tenacious in their beliefs, often debasing and maligning others who believe differently. All have the same rallying cry - "READ THE SCRIPTURES!" Does anyone else see a problem here? If we are all reading the Scriptures, and we can disagree so much on what they mean and what to follow and what is TRUE...then there is no disputing the fact that many of us are wrong. I can see it now, everyone sitting at their screen saying "You go girl! Tell those OTHER people they are wrong!" Fact is, people, when we have two differing beliefs, at least one of them HAS to be wrong. Lets face it, they cannot BOTH be right. That means one person, who believes in what they are saying with their whole heart and soul - IS WRONG. I am not saying who is wrong and who is right (I certainly dont know!) but they cant both be right... So for those of you out there who feel you have all the answers and have cornered the market on Holy Spirit discernment and scriptural knowledge, I would just remember - some of you are wrong. I heard a preacher say once that even the most stringent "scripture followers" have in some way manufactured a truth to fit their own belief system. Continually pray to the Holy Spirit for discernment and for Him to open your eyes to His truth.

AMEN Sister Regina  YOU GO GIRL Tell those OTHER people they're wrong  I agree with you... as long as you are Right!! I wish you could have heard the message at my church this morning. Pastor Willy (Dr. William Rice) was talking about car repair. huh?... you might say. Well, maybe you should hear it yourself. at calvary baptist dott org However, today's sermon will not be online until the end of the week. Don't know why it takes so long, but trust me it's worth it. Scriptures are often not given on many who claim to have truth. Gods word is truth and every ones elses opinion,that contradictits it is a lie....those who undermine sola scriptura in favor of the doctrines of men are in for a big surprise come eternity. Romans 3 God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged. But if our unrighteousness commend the righteousness of God, what shall we say? Is God unrighteous who taketh vengeance? (I speak as a man) God forbid: for then how shall God judge the world? For if the truth of God hath more abounded through my lie unto his glory; why yet am I also judged as a sinner? And not rather, (as we be slanderously reported, and as some affirm that we say,) Let us do evil, that good may come? whose damnation is just. What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin; 10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith. Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law. 29 Is he the God of the Jews only? is he not also of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also: Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith. Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law. Jesus is the law!!!!!!!!! He lives and reigns in his people by the holy Ghost!!! Isaiah 42:8 " I am the Lord; that is my name! And My glory I will not give to another, nor My praise to graven images."

I feel the same way. What bothers me is: If a had more knowledge than I have now and feel as great as I do in Love with Christ. Wouldnt I be happier and even slower to anger...slower to fire off the expletive deletives? I think I would be whether they agreed with me or not....Being angry is such a waste of time especially if you dwell on it....I have some Spiritual maturity and am constantly working on more..God Bless all of you. ‘HE will rule them with an iron scepter.’...
