What does your name say about you?

Ok, there are some online names that I can't quite figure out. But since most folks put a little thought into choosing their handle there must be something behind each of these names. Mine is floridagal2...its pretty obvious that I am a gal from Florida. Wouldn't you all like to know the why behind some of these handles? How about posting the handle of someone you are curious about...and then if that person would be so kind as to post the meaning behind their handle, I think it would be both interesting and fun.

I'd like to ask about BristerBate. Is Brister an exotic foreign animal? And what kind of "Bate" do you catch one with? Really, though, what's the story there?

I am curious about Tracy G's handle. Why she would pick Goblinqueen. Like you, most people's handles are straight forward and does convey a little about them. But Goblinqueen??? Hmmmmm.....

May God Bless You in ABUNDANCE

Deena I love the tropics and I am a Man, so that is the meaning behind mine. My first one before I left long ago was tropical_Guy. I grew up in Ohio and always longed for warm, exotic places. Florida is a great place to live and it is almost always warm here as you know.

You have been a blessing to me here. You are witty and very intelligent, not to mention cute and sweet. I hope your plans for NC are either full go, or you realize they arent for you. I just want to see all well for you!

Oops, sorry I'm late, Deena...

Well, I explained this once earlier. No big deal. I was using another version of Bate before I got on BC (someone called me Bates too). Then, conforming to my idea of a gender-less Spirit (or both in one and the same) I mixed Brother & Sister together and I got "Brister".
No wild and foreign animals, no "bait" either. Satisfied? LOL!
However, I got used to be called BB, and that's short and fine. Just don't misuse "BB" for BigBrother (as someone recently did ), and it should be alright, I suppose.

As a curiosity: If I'd read "Gal" as a Scandinavian word [ gha:l ], in addition to "wrong/erroneous", it would give the idea of Mad or Nuts (from FL ), or also in your combination, like: Crazy about FL, or Florida-Freak. But if I'd interpret your "2" as "too", who would be the other one???
Dopey?? -->
Heheheheeee

"Gal" is also the craw sound, fx. of the rooster: Cockcraw. Could it be a FL-craw that will turn into NC-craw? LOL!

Thanks for the explanation...it's kind of like reading personalized license plates...I don't always get it at first glance, but once explained I wonder how I missed it.

Yes Floridagal will soon be NCgal...just drove back from NC today; got a job offer and I accepted...so have a month to get all in order for the move. Much to do but excited about the opportunity.
