Is It Selfish To Want To Leave Now

We all may get this way?....To leave this planet and just go home to CHRIST!....Is it selfish?.....We are supposed to do GOD's work?.....The more I know and learn I just want to leave!.....Is it I feel guilty about leaving loved ones behind?....The Bible says we wont have memories of this life?....How do you feel about this?.....Please correct me if I'm wrong!.....Do You feel this way, to feel homesick?

When a friend of mine was dying....She was very happy!....She knew she only had months to live....No panic, just joy....She knew the Bible extremely well and I over the years would ask her questions.....I miss my friend....I truly do!....The last time I was with her....She made dinner for me and we were talking about GOD.....I was overwhelmed and told her about these feelings....That I want to leave NOW!.....She stated it was "GOD beckoning me"....I was very startled by that remark to say the least....God saying "Come...come to me".....I am a very happy guy now....I'm happy with my life....I'm in LOVE with a great Woman of GOD.....I have three great and we love each other....GOD Bless us all.........BUT!!!

‘HE will rule them with an iron scepter.’... He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty.... On HIS robe and on HIS thigh HE has this name written:... KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS."

Sometimes I do wish that I could go. It's real hard sometimes to want to stay. Blessings

The body of Christ is like a patchwork quilt! All stitched together with God's love.

Paul spoke of such a desire if we recall.
Where though does it actually come from?
IF we "leave" before our appointed time-
Have we not told God He is wrong- and our foolish desire trumps His plan?
Or how about that idea of even "ask God to take us home"...
Once again- "our will be done- not thine"...
In such a case- we do indeed need to be careful what we pray for-
just in case He might take us seriously- He doesn't have to take us "alone"- we could be on an airliner with 300 other people when He takes us at OUR word... or standing on a crowded street corner when the out of control bus gets there.
The idea of "not many would be adversely affected" is a sinful thought right from the start- "one more day" might/could have produced a miracle in someone's life- but you aren't here to be used in His service.
Such thoughts of "wanna go home" make very little sense in light of what CHRIST HIMSELF TAUGHT- If yer NOT living in utter PURE abundance and serving others to the best of GOD'S ABILITY- sure- go home. Listen closely to what JESUS tells ya when He sees ya... "depart"...
That old verse about IN BUT NOT OF- is so horribly misquoted as to be a deadly source of mind sickness as can be seen in this post. It can not apply when you NEVER followed what JESUS said to do and YOU ACTUALLY NEVER DID IT. If you HAD done- Paul's words would MAKE NO SENSE AT ALL since your entire life would be revolving around PERFECTION AT GOD'S COMMAND and not some bogus desire to end it all- throw yer hands up in the air and tell GOD you want to die.
"For God so loved... not perish... have eternal life".
Yet PAUL taught you it's ok to ASK GOD TO KILL YOU SO YOU CAN GO TO HEAVEN? Jesus said HEAVEN WAS HERE- so where ya gunna GO??? The RELIGION as it is in todays world is SOOOOOOOOOOO HILARIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!
