One More Time HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Can you hear me NOW.,,,lol Ok I'm going to try this again. Freddie, Pen and Rod, you are no help at all...Pllllease. We truly want some ideas. So this will be the starting point...whats first...a place to have it, what kind of things sould we do at this get together. Its going to be for christian singles so do we need to get a speaker. I know my BC brothers and sisters can help....Please. God is God, Good And Great. I have no problem with you, believing what you believe...Just don't have one with me if I don't see it your way.... Greetings Wings, OK, I just saw your other post... Here are some things to consider. Since ppl don't really like others, they have never met yet, to always know exactly where they live, why not have a gathering at a state park. In my area, we can reserve pavilions, with fire places for grilling, tables, and a shelter in case of inclement weather. Also, these places have rest room facilities. Also, they are usually governed by rules, like, no alcohol, dawn to dusk only, as well as being security patrolled. A lot cheaper then renting a hall, and easier to clean the pavilion, then your home, twice. You can make it a hodge podge of foods, by each person bringing a little this, and some of that. Sharing is nice.. Most places have electric outlets, but check first, for your entertainment. Karaoke was suggested, and is a good idea, but just a radio with a tape or cd player, will get you through. Kids can play lawn games, that people bring, should a single person be, ah, solo parent single. Name tags/stickers would help break the ice.
