These are all believers, right? If so then alternate the fun stuff with elements of a small group setting, and/or support group. Have someone who is accurately knowledgeable, teach from the Bible, the roles of those who are single, widowed, and divorced. You don't want someone who is going to say that divorced people should never re-marry, or condemn those who have divorced. Nor do you want a speaker who is hung up on if the divorce was justifiable according to Bible standards. In the end result, a person from a Biblically justified divorce is no different then a person from a wrong divorce who has since repented and been forgiven by God. As the group builds trust in each other, have some open discussions of what happened in their failed marriages. Try to keep it candid, but without becoming a 'bash the ex' discussion. Pray with, and for each other a lot, and you will see some amazing healing begin. Isaiah 66:2b; But to this one I will look, To him who is humble and contrite of spirit, and who trembles at My word.

Started one in April... I set the tone with announcing that we were not here for matchmaking or fixing up oothers... and the we wanted to develope a group open to everyone single or divorced (without a significant other) to come together and eat, fellowship (Must make everyone feel welcome, have a greeting crew, made up of men and woman), and a fun time... we had music in the background... played catchphrase in a large circle... and watched a christian comedy dvd on a projection system... We are having another this saturday night... there have been recommendations of visiting other saturday night church services and eating out... going to the movies... and many other games were suggested... we meet in a community center gymnasium... started at 7pm and everyone stayed til 10... Blessings to your vision angel!!! Let the SON shine!!! michael

start it in melbourne australia....fly very large numbers of ladies 22-42 over here to prayerfully meeet me...so we can all seek the lord as to which one i would like best thanks ,,i appreciate it fred thanks for setting it all up
