Jesus, this is Jim

After Jim had become a Christian, his co-workers observed that at the beginning of each lunch hour, he would always disappear just for about 2-3 minutes. This went on for months. Every lunch hour.

Finally, someone worked up the nerve to ask him where he would go everyday.

Jim said, "To pray".

"But you are only gone for a couple of minutes. How much prayer could you possibly be doing in just a couple of minutes?"

Jim answered, "I don't need much time"

"Why not, what do you say?"

Jim replied, "I go the church, kneel at the altar, and say, 'Jesus, this is Jim'".

This routine went on for over a year. One day, Jim collapsed at work and had to be rushed to the ER.

It just so happened that he ended up in a ward that had a reputation for being the ward with a staff that were always negative, bickering with each other, complaining being sarcastic and grumpy.

About a week after Jim had been admitted too that ward, a doctor noticed a difference in the staff's attitude.

He commented on it to one of the nurses and asked what had happened.

The nurse told him that the patient Jim, had brought about this drastic change in mood in the staff.

So the doctor went to Jim's room and began talking to Jim. Finally he couldn't contain his curiosity and said, "Jim, the nurses and staff tell me that you are responsible for the change in the atmosphere in this ward. What did you do?"

Jim said, "It isn't me, it's my visitor".

"But", the doctor said, "the nurses say you have not had one single visitor since you were admitted."

Jim replied, "Of yes I have had a visitor every day. He comes in right at noon, and stands at the foot of my bed and says, 'Jim, this is Jesus'".

Eph 2:10 We are his workmanship (poiema, or poem, or work of art) created in Christ Jesus.

God is an artist and you are His masterpiece!

Amen!!! I love it! GBU!!! Angel

Angel looking 4 her wings.. I will loosen myself from what has held me in the past, and from all the things that claw at my soul and threaten to pull it away from Gods purpose.

In Him, I need never worry.

God is God‒be humbled.
God is good‒be encouraged.
God is great‒be thankful
