Women are like Apples... I love this illustration and I think it's appropriate for me to share this here. A woman should not have to lower her standards- by God's grace the right guy will find you- Don't stop believing! "Women are like apples on trees. The best ones are at the top of the tree. Some men don't want to reach for the good ones because they are afraid of falling and getting hurt. Instead, they just get the rotten apples from off the ground that aren't as good, but easy. So the apples at the top think something is wrong with them, when in reality, THEY'RE amazing. They just have to wait for the right man to come along, the one who's brave enough to climb all the way to the top of the tree"  God's love reaches all- growing means thinking outside the box... love one another |

I thought I was the only one that used this type of illustration. I have a similar one. When you shake the tree the best fruit remains. You don't want the bad fruit because it will make you ill. I've been enjoying your posts.

Excellent one here. But can you just clearify these guys that the top of the tree is simply a genuine relationship with God who is the author of marriage? If I am not mistaken I do believe that marriage is the affair of God.He is the author of marriage and when we get firmly connected to Him everything will be easy going, even though there may be ups and downs. It is not just enough for a man to be braved, if the braveness you are talking of, is the braveness in their genuineness in their relationship with God then that is ok if not it can't work. Take the example of the guy who is dangling because he said he tried to climb but felt. One of the petinent thing the guys must know is that if it is the "self" that is trying to climb the tree you will always fail. It must be certain whether it is the will of God.If it is your will and not God's you will not see that "queen" at the top of the so call tree as our sister said here lol. Hope to say more.
