DO YOU HAVE PET NAMES FOR YOUR PET?

In this case the answers may be just as strange as the question. Maybe I'm the only one, but does anyone else here call their pets by any other name than the one they have been given?

I have a cat- he has big green eyes, grey white and very fluffy- His name is Scout and he actually comes when I call for him or whistle- for real! He even rolls over- sooo cute!

I don't know why but I also call him by all sorts of things other than just his given name... Lately it's Shooby or sometimes Shubert or even Ki-Ki and it seems to change. In the past it's been Baby-Kitty or Coo-Coo Kitty or some other silly nonsense... I know crazy right?

And of course it's in that silly voice that pet owners use when they are bonding with their animals... when you say things like 'ohhhh- who's the kitty- who's the kitty- who's the great big fluffy kitty cat?'

If you haven't started rolling your eyes by now then you probably do this too- (you are probably rolling your eyes anyway) I love all animals and I used to have two dogs but now it's just me and Scout.

How about you... how do you interact with your animals... and what are some of your pet's pet names?

God's love reaches all- growing means thinking outside the box... love one another

    Quoting skystar13:
Yep, my cat is such a party animal... He did try out for SNL but they said all his material had already been done... poor kitty-LoL

Jasmine sounds like such a sweetie! I did a couple of years of caregiving for a family that had a King Charles Spaniel named Bernie.

I sooo loved that dog- he was my buddy- what a sweetheart and really smart! He used to cuddle with me on the couch and follow me everywhere. I had to be careful though because if I was eating someting and left it unguarded for even a second he was on it and it was gone! He'd grab it and make a dash for his doggie door- this happened more than once, but finally I learned. LoL

You'll have to show me some pictures of your sweet, Jazzie Jasmine!

Sure. I 'll show you her picture. I guess I'll have to do it on a post since I can't e-mail you.

Jaz doesn't steal food. She did that once, and I straightened her out. She's great with kids, too. The only thing I don't like about her is that she sheds enough for 10 dogs. But if that's her only flaw, I'll put up with it.

Greetings,
Though I have never really had a pet of my own, I have always ended up with others pets to watch. I have noticed that all these pets, for the last 30 or so years, have had the same pet pet name. "FoodHound"... Why, I have already seen two foodhounds this morning licking my face, cause I am scrumptious...

No King but CHRIST JESUS!!!

I have a 3 year old Spaniel mix I got at the animal shelter. Her name is Jasmine and she's a doll. Very well behaved. Doesn't have a mean bone in her body, she just wants to play. Loves everyone. Even my next door neighbors 2 cats. She cries because they won't play with her, they just look at her like shes nuts.

I usually call her Jaz or Hon, (which can be a little confusing when I have a girlfriend) or Puppy Girl.

From that picture, it seems that you have a 'wild and crazy' cat.
