I HAD A LOT OF FUN AT KARAOKE... You may or may not know this about me but singing is one of my passions in life. I was in a band years ago and there are times when I really miss it. I went to Karaoke last night and I had so much fun! I've been singing karaoke for fun for years. It's not always fun, fun, fun for me all the time. Sometimes it can even be a bit of a drag if there's no one good to hang out with... but singing is always therapitic for me and it's how I make friends, and I have made some really good, loyal friends! Last night was especially fun- I met this really, great guy- Ryan. He has red hair (as I told him I have thing for red heads) and a really cool and amazing personality and we so hit it off. When I would get up and sing he would even go with me... I've always hoped to meet and hit it off with a guy who likes karaoke as much as I do! We just really had so much fun- I sang the Pat Benatar song Love Is A Battlefield- it was DJ's choice. It was so great- I'm usually pretty serious when I sing a song... now that I think about it maybe too serious- this guy helped me bring out my fun, lighter side... I have a good feeling and I think this could turn into a really good friendship I was singing and dancing around with the microphone in a funny overly dramatic sort of way... almost in a mock tone to the video and he was going right along with me- it was great! He even had me dancing and two- stepping to other people's songs as well. This is something I haven't been able to do much of since my accident- but I am getting better now. I think we are going to be friends because he just called a little while ago and we are going to see the movie Hellboy2 tonight! We both loved the original movie and we think the sequal should be pretty great... awesome- I'll keep you posted!  God's love reaches all- growing means thinking outside the box... love one another |
